no. i had to re-learn what humour was, and rebuild my sense of it. i found that group cult think humour was different from regular person humour.

My sense of humor is exactly the same. I never laughed at those sad-assed witness jokes back then and I don't now. I always used to laugh at their retarded serious comments back then though.. and I still do. LOL.

Nope. I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. It takes a good sense of humor to deal with loosing all your friends, relatives, and to be treated as if sinning against all that is good, just to deal with it. I do not however think it is a funny matter at all. But I smile and have a good laugh at myself knowing that I was gullible to swallow such a long line and sinker.

But life is good. Thank God he got me out in time to enjoy some of it.

What Kwin said. I was pretty grim for a couple of months (April, May and June of this year). I'm slowly recovering. It's hard to find out everything you once believed in and lived your life for is a bunch of crap.

I think the hall removes any sense of humor, passion, interests, playfulness, love, personal responsibility, willingness to answer questions (and more than space permits) at the door. That's just what I have seen in my own personal experience of watching what they did to someone I love. How can one have a sense of humor when you wait all day for the big A to come, any minute now? And you never know, there may some really juicy doom & gloom story on the news!

On the other hand how can one have a sense of humor when you know your very own fds protects and hides pedophiles and you cannot seem to reconcile it in your own mind? Kind of puts a damper on things.
