Been laughing ever since I got away (didn't leave as I was technically never in, raised in it but not baptised) from the Lie. Living well is the best revenge, and a lot more fun.

Did you leave your SENSE of HUMORS behind as well?
Pshaw... although I did forget my copy of 101 Bible Jokes when i left. I think we've all needed a sense of humor to get through the anguish of family rejection, loss of friends, and judicial committess. - Preston

Nope.....I GAINED a sense of humor....ever watch a group of JW's, standing around, befroe or after a meeting, chatting and carrying on, about, nothing really. Then someone breaks out with the STOOPIDEST laughter, it's like a giggle bag...it has GOT to be the most ridiculous sound, and everyone in the group tries to join in, because, you can't be the only one not laughing, you know??!! Half the time, no, most of the time, the jokes just aren't funny, but oh boy! they think they are!!.....CA-RAZEE!!!...

i hurt for a long long time after finding out how much i had been lied to, so yes for a while i really didn't have much of a sense of humor, nor did I laugh very much. it took starting a new life and making new friends to bring that back to me.
the watchtower society lies, that's the bottom line, and lying hurts people.
