I love how Noah playing a video game is linked to his fictitious drowning and is made to be comical.

Paying attention can save your life too!

The brilliance is the ease at which you manipulate people to be so cavalier with statements of life and death.  they just roll off the tongue.

Ok so i watched that crap.....

it was very short.  There was absolutly no reasoning done with caleb or sophia. It was just a comparision to noah but no actual example of how paying attention would benefit them. I was left wondering "wtf is the point?" .  Kids as young as caleb wont but by the time their 10 or 11 thats glaringly obvious that no real world example was given.

also, did you hear what was being taught when caleb wasnt paying attention in the open?? They were reading a paragraph about how jesus warned that some would deflect from true worship!  A nod to the apostates, perhaps?

then when it was all said and done they are back at meeting and guess what the talk is abput??  Noah.  And caleb is drawing a picture.... But its ok, the picture is on topic!

    Barf.

i know its for kids but just 15 years ago when my kids were born this drivil would never have flown.  Ever. its so watered down and stupid.  I think the kids that grow up on this wont be half as indoctrinated as many of us were

Why not? Look at the insanely crappy kids books that we had (My Book of Bible Stories and the even worse one before that) and then compare it to the slick and modern videos they have now.

They are going to keep enough people hooked and this is the reason they are mellowing from a more militant / persecution-welcoming smaller group of fanatics into a more mainstream / lifestyle / mormon-like religion instead.

Take a look around at all the religions of the world and the utterly crazy crackpot ideas they are based on. The ability to indoctrinate is not dependent on logical arguments, it's on repetition and authority and they are being bombarded with both.

thats a fair point and perhaps im drawing conclusions that arnt warrented by comparing my experiance with what I perceive is the experiance these kids are having or will have, and my bias is skewing the expected result...  However some of my thesis is based on the idea that so many of us stuck around because of the sudo logic and heavy handed indoctrination and i have expectation that, sans those tools, this group of kids wont buy in as much.  I also think that the internet (and other forms of technology) will help them be more aware and educated... But again, im willing to accept that i have a bias and may not see the matter clearly :)

Feel so sorry for kids that have to sit through that drivel and are expected to pay attention, kids don't have the same attention span as adults. There's no Sunday school or any kind of fun activities, geez if you're gonna brainwash and indoctrinate them at least make it fun.

I noticed Caleb, Sophie and their family are in the new KH complete with the Little Blue Dot!

This religion has just gotten completely bat-shit crazy!

This is it exactly. They just keep   with the same message, there is no flexing of the ability to "reason." BTW Simon, when I watched this video it did hit me just how accurate your nazi Germany's comparison really is despite my previous disagreement in the other thread. This is exactly the same as Hitlers brainwashing propaganda videos. They get you to turn off your reasoning and just listen and agree and blindly follow their will and reasoning. Now they are doing it with children via Caleb.

The following is from Mein Kampf

"Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively and, in so far as it is favourable to the other side, present it according to the theoretical rules of justice; yet it must present only that aspect of the truth which is favourable to its own side. (...) The receptive powers of the masses are very restricted, and their understanding is feeble. On the other hand, they quickly forget. Such being the case, all effective propaganda must be confined to a few bare essentials and those must be expressed as far as possible in stereotyped formulas. These slogans should be persistently repeated until the very last individual has come to grasp the idea that has been put forward. (...) Every change that is made in the subject of a propagandist message must always emphasize the same conclusion. The leading slogan must of course be illustrated in many ways and from several angles, but in the end one must always return to the assertion of the same formula."

    Scarily comparable, no? There's more:

"Propaganda must always address itself to the broad masses of the people. (...) All propaganda must be presented in a popular form and must fix its intellectual level so as not to be above the heads of the least intellectual of those to whom it is directed. (...) The art of propaganda consists precisely in being able to awaken the imagination of the public through an appeal to their feelings, in finding the appropriate psychological form that will arrest the attention and appeal to the hearts of the national masses. The broad masses of the people are not made up of diplomats or professors of public jurisprudence nor simply of persons who are able to form reasoned judgment in given cases, but a vacillating crowd of human children who are constantly wavering between one idea and another. (...) The great majority of a nation is so feminine in its character and outlook that its thought and conduct are ruled by sentiment rather than by sober reasoning. This sentiment, however, is not complex, but simple and consistent. It is not highly differentiated, but has only the negative and positive notions of love and hatred, right and wrong, truth and falsehood."

The way Hitlers propaganda policy compares to Watchtower is really scary IMHO.

That is so disturbing. Religions is nothing but bad ideas. Making a joke about god snuffing out all those lives because they were enjoying the life he gave them.

Why were they the only ones in the hall? lol

Nice blue sign on the hall in case any out there haven't caught up yet, the elder bodies can get new light now from caleb and sophia and get on the ball and put up their logo too!

The cartoon of Noah doesn't show kids and puppies drowning. Wheres your balls WTBS??? pussies. wanna be fear mongering zealots? Show it like it is, like ISIS would, or some other nut cases. Really make them afraid if you believe the story is true. show babies floating on the water. Sick F%$#ks.

And when caleb is drawing it at the end, its just a wooden box with some water? total distance from the horror of god committing genocide on his own creation.

I say to the Org, you want to sell this crap horrific fairytale, tell it like is, maybe TM3 should produce this, I am sure he'd love to show the R&F how horrible it would be watching everyone on earth drown.

    Makes me sick

On the video, when asked what they learned at the meeting the kids replied "no sleeping and no playing."
