    ahhhh honey, (((((((((((HUG))))))))))))

I love you with my whole heart. I pray you find peace. I know your struggle, you have been looking for any sign of the identifying mark of the true religion, "Love".

    Starbucks is pretty close.

For all the ones we know who have slandered, gossiped and lied. For the ones who have never known what kind of person you really are, be glad that only Jehovah can read the hearts, and he will be the judge. To the the unloving, hateful, ones, may their lives be full of McDonald and 7/11 coffee for the rest of their days.

Remember the best revenge is living well, and loving well.

..and speaking of loss, maybe a latte with skim milk next Sunday?

    Gain.

    Big Gain.

Their Loss. But then again, all the good in the world is their loss, in a way.

    Is it a load off?

If those morons would've just changed a few killer doctrines and served a good cup of coffee to keep us awake during those boring monologues, they might have kept a few good men.

I'd try to find a scripture about not "kicking the goads", or somesuch, but I can't find a bible.

Worldly girl is in town making music and calling me "you". I just got back from watching them record, we hugged a lot, and toked a little. It was nice. I'll call you tomorrow eve.

logical - Starbucks is an American, franchised coffee shop, with over-priced coffees and snacks.

Deacon, there were probably over a dozen others in that Kingdom Hall who would have loved to have been able to join you for a coffee, instead of having to put up with the boring Sunday talk and Watchtower.

Deacon, you CAN be sure of something again. It's just a matter of discovering what that might be for you. Suggest you investigate meditation of some sort as a technique of making contact with the indwelling spirit, the one to which Jesus was referring when he said that the "kingdom of heaven is within you."

It really is there and it really is contactable. But it requires that you make the sincere effort; on your own, and not through a self-important, self-righteous, self-appointed organization of men.

And once you've realized this pearl of great price, you'll never think of the so-called "certainty" of the WTBTS again. In fact, you'll never need any "other" to intercede for you again.

    Best,
    Frank

    Deacon;

It's hard to say what is easier, being kicked out or fading. Once you realized the lies you believed for so long it doesn't really matter. The disappointment and hurt are the same, one method prolongs the transition the other propels it. But you still remain "you" and will find a new way to think that is hopefully free of mind control. For me it's approaching a year after walking away, the anger sometimes still comes up but the intensity fades. Family, still in, makes things more complicated and I see some lingering in agony just so they don't rock the boat.

I'd say be happy your out.

Your gain, of course, and their loss. So many of the things that you wrote brought back a lot of memories.

And don't tell me there are still idiot elders trying to make DFd people come into the meetings late?? God, I can't believe the stupidity. Oh, well...

And what to believe now? There lies your adventure. I remember that moment about ten years ago when I also realized for a certainty that I was not going to live forever, that I was going to grow old and die just like everyone else. Ah, that hope of eternal life in paradise sounded so wonderful - but alas, living forever IS only a dream!

All I can tell you is that the sense of freedom and unlimited opportunity that comes with finally facing reality and deciding to REALLY live is absolutely wonderful. It will come in time.

And what should you believe in? Start with some simple stuff: The green lushness of New England's mountains, the stark, red power of Arizona's deserts, the sensuality of a canoe on water, the incredible softness of a woman's inner thighs under your fingertips, a child's silly laughter, that feeling after two glasses of red wine, the morning's first cup of coffeee (even a Starbucks).

You get the idea? Let the adventure begin.

    Deacon,

Hugs to you. Your sentiments match mine exactly. The reality of life is both beautiful and horrifying. Both beautiful and horrible things happen in life.

Each of our contributions do matter. I believe life is about the furthering expansion of life and the experiencing of life. There are a billion things to occupy your time with.

Indeed, it is easier to be addicted to the treadmill of waiting for something outside of physical reality to come and fix reality so it will be all pretty. It takes much more work and mental resolve to say, its up to me to make reality better.

    hugs

    Joel
