I just want this to stop!

as some of you know my husband became ill and we lost our house in indiana.

my parents offered to help and although i really didn't want to do it knowing that my parents have limited resources i really didn't have a choice.

i also wanted to come back to a place that was familiar and where most of my family and friends are.

Restraining order mama. I dont care if he IS your father, if he doesnt OWN the apartment you live in he does NOT have the right to enter any time he wants to. Nor would the real landlord. There are tenant rights. If he doesnt quit harrassing you, get a restraining order. When people help you it does not give them license to OWN you and CONTROL you and CHECK UP ON YOU.

You are doing what is, again, in the best interests of your family honey, sometimes that includes tough love. Been there done that.

Star Trek

okay, i have to confess, i like star trek.

i like voyager best, of the tv series.. anyway, tonight they had a sneak peek of the new star trek movie and we went.

it was really good!.

Sorry Im going on there...I AM going to see STAR TREK. Yep...Im old enough to have enjoyed the very camp original series BEFORE Captain Kirk had to start wearing a girdle to get into his suit LOL!

Why do some people never use deodorants?

It's the same idea to me though when I wash my clothes. I want them to SMELL clean when Im done. I could use the "rocks" or whatever natural thing they put in these days but I LIKE clean smelling laundry and that goes for SHAMPOO TOO!

i know of a case where a ms is living net door to his mother and father.

his dad is a elder and mom is a long time pioneer.

he no longer attends meetings and has many "wild" parties and also has a live in girlfriend.

Yes she was 15 and baptized...dad an elder...lifers. As was the kid she was messing with.

one of our elders' kid who was 15, slept with her BF and not only got caught doing that but ended up pregnant too. They didnt get married, baby was born...nobody DFd. Its not like EVERYBODY didnt know what had happened there. You cant hide a 9 month pregnant 15 year old.

Why do some people never use deodorants?

I used to date a JW man who never used deodorant. He was fine until we did something physical like riding bikes then it was just awful. His thought was that a "good honest sweat" doesnt smell bad, only "natural". Natural if you are a NEANDERTHAL. Ugh...I wonder if he thought deer urine was a good cologne??

He also only used baking soda to brush his teeth with. Im sorry but that DOESNT cut it.

But the FIRST JW I ever dated...the one who brought me in...BRAGGED that he never brushed his teeth ever and never went to the dentist. Somehow in his twisted head, because he didnt GO to the dentist that meant he didnt have any cavities?? How would he KNOW if he did besides his teeth falling out?? He chewed a LOAD of gum that one. I was totally grossed out after he announced that with GREAT pride I might add. Kissing? Done baby.

I also used to have to ride two different buses to get to work in Chicago in 1980 and the one that ran through the Polish neighborhoods in the summer time just about KILLED ME. Seriously people...its the 21st century. There is no excuse for smelling like road kill.

Which Dishwasher should I get?

i have kitchenaid dishwasher, which is very slow in the washing and drying dept.

the previous owner bought it before i moved here.

i would like to get a faster dishwasher.

Bosch. We got one a few years ago and its wonderful. Sooooo quiet and does such a wonderful job. Never had a lick of problems with it either. Make sure the person who INSTALLS it is qualified though and makes the connections under the sink correct including electrical.

wow...they were totally spooked. I think those harnesses are break away. Poor babies!! I live next to Wellington, FL where those polo ponies all died simultaneously a couple weeks ago. Broke my HEART.

The JWs are experts at the Red Herring. They talk about other religions and spew propaganda about those other religions hoping you dont NOTICE that they are describing THEMSELVES to a T!!

I remember reading a series of articles about Propaganda a few years ago that they wrote...and it positively made me PUKE!!
