  WOW!!! Just found out from someone who went to the one day assembly....

  hello friends... just found out that at the recent one day assembly they are now really discouraging people from getting married!!!!!

  they will lose young ones like crazy if they start telling them that they cannot get married...what are these sexually frusterated young people to do??

  you cannot masterbate, you cannot have sex outside of marriage (not that i would encourage it either, but...), now you cannot even get married?????

  They probably also predicted that old guy will die within the next 20 years or much less and when he does they will claim they are prophets for knowing that would happen LOLOL! What idiots. The Bible says the end is coming...how long ago was that now? 2 or three THOUSAND years???

  There are so few women in the borg now that its probably true that young men are seeking mates outside the holy walls and that will bring them straight out the door. So lets scare them somehow into not getting married at all and doing what then?? Just hanging out at the Kingdom Hall fantasizing? Even pioneering full time only takes up what...30 hours a month of their time?

  Why dont they start restricting what underwear people wear to keep them from procreating? Why dont they regulate what they wear to bed so they dont accidently entice their mates into having sex? Regulate what they say, think, hear, wear, feel.....oh wait..they already do that.

  PRAYERS NEEDED!!

  my mom just called and said my brother in law was found unconscious out in california.

  he was on a business trip and was jogging which he does religiously every day.

  the only id he had on him was his hotal key so they tracked him down.

  My mom just called and said my brother in law was found unconscious out in California. He was on a business trip and was jogging which he does religiously every day. The only ID he had on him was his hotal key so they tracked him down. The police took him to the hospital and they said he had a massive heart attack but we dont have word yet on prognosis or condition or if he even woke up yet. My sister is frantically trying to get from Illinois out to where he is in Irvine. Their daughter who is 8 months pregnant and her husband live an hour away and my brother is two hours away and they are converging to support each other. Im helpless down here in Fla to do anything but wait.

  Hopefully this is Gods warning shot over the bow that he needs a bypass or something doable and fixable. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

  Im from Illinois and I really miss the ROBINS. :*( We have mockingbirds here in Florida and they sing beautifully...at 3AM!!! Goofy birds have zero concept of time LOL

  Jehovah's Witnesses---A Religion That Does Nothing For Anyone

  the reality is: jehovah's witnesses benefit no one but themselves!.

  they don't contribute to society.

  they refuse to get involved in local interests because that would constitute violating their neutrality.. if sexual abuse allegations are made amongst their members, unless two witnesses can attest to the molestation, they refuse to get the "superior authorities" involved.. they claim to be doing their neighbors a "life saving" work but the reality is that they simply are pests to their "householders".. they are a tax free "religion" and they do not pay taxes.. they are judgmental people and regard the "world" as "worldly" and in the "power of the wicked one".. and if the individual members do not conform to the organization's dictates, they might very well be "shunned" and regarded as "dead".. why anyone would want to be a jehovah's witness is beyond me..

  My estranged JW husband was over at my home last night and he said (sneering like h he was smelling dirty socks) "Every time I come over here I have to be subjected to your holiday celebrations and your BIRTHDAYS! And then I remember how much I DONT miss that in my house!" To which I said..."At least you are WELCOME in MY house! Im not allowed to be IN YOURS!(he moved his JW sister and BIL and their FIVE kids into my house when I moved out) Which I OWN! And every time you are late getting here to see the kids because you had to go to the meeting or you cant come because you have a convention to go to, or you are doing a Kingdom Hall build or you show up in your suit because you were out in service...Or I think about you and your ilk praying for your God to destroy the planet and kill me and your CHILDREN because we dont believe like you do... I throw up in my mouth. So yeah...feeling is mutual dude."

  It is a crutch. Its an excuse for being HORRIBLE to other human beings. Its a way of causing fear to force people to do things for some vengeful God. It gives people an excuse to do bad things the rest of the week as long as they go spend that hour on Sunday saying they were sorry for it.

  If people cant be good to each other and treat people like they themselves would like to be treated without some book telling them what to do then that is sad indeed. Religions have been behind damn near every war on this planet and have caused divisions amongst the people occupying it with every religion saying THEY have the truth THEY are superior, THEY own God.

  i was waiting for the bus this morning (which didn't come until i decided to drive, then it showed up, naturally, after i already got on the road) when a jw approached the two people next to me, offering a tract.

  she showed them psalm 83:18 first--same old, same old.

  but hey, at least i admire her courage in sharing the scriptures with people, even if that particular scripture is, apparently, more important than any message from the christ that could possibly be shared with people.

  So its being a member of a "group" that makes us superior to all other human beings in the Eyes of God? So the JWs think THEY are Gods Chosen? The Hindus, the Baptists, the Mormons, the Muslims and the Ku Klux Klan all think THEY have Gods Backing. So hmmmmm....which do I chose?

  The ones with the most real estate? The ones with the prettiest Cathedrals? The ones who pray the most? The ones with the most members? What makes God chose ONE group over another? Their inane false prophesies and hatred of all others who DONT believe the same as they do? Or the group with the most pretty statues or the ones with the hatred of statues? The ones who pray to Mecca or to Brooklyn Heights? The ones who chose the New Orleans Saints over the Colts? Or maybe the ones who have the most firearms and hate those pesky Jews, Blacks and Gays? How about joining the ones who have the most bingo nights in the basement? Or the ones who sent help...real help...to Haiti without calling a photo op to brag about it?

  My family is trying to gather Intel on me......through my 5 yr old!!

  i don't have conclusive evidence yet, but i'm pretty sure that my mom and siblings are asking my 5 yr old questions to find things out, such as, whether we attend meetings or not, if we celebrate holidays, do we go in service etc.. maybe i'm just being paranoid.....but i don't think so..

  Thats pretty low. And of course your 5 year old will tell them exactly what they want to hear so if you are trying to hide from them I guess you will have to cut off contact between your kid and her family to prevent her from leaking intel.

  If they are going to shun you or have you DFd there is no preventing it if they are bound and determined to be your judges jury and executioners. Some family.

  Since Leaving "The Truth" Are You Really Happier?

  witnesses say that when people leave "the truth", they get involved in a debauched life, misery, and general unhappiness.. they give experiences of some that left the "sweet fellowship" of the "brotherhood" and the awful results because of it.

  then, they come back and their lives change 100% for the better!.

  have you found life to be miserable and unproductive since "leaving jehovah"?.

  The only thing that made me happy when I WAS a JW were my children. And when I ditched the Borg they were 1-1/2, 8 and 6. So then I had the happiness of having my beautiful children AND TOTAL FREEDOM!!! No more nosy sisters checking out my house when they "stopped by out in service" and no more nasty comments about why I WASNT OUT IN SERVICE TOO. No more hypocrites smiling to my face and backstabbing me when I left the room. NO more gossippy nasty women and self righteous demigod window washing elders judging me and my life.

  There was no happiness in the borg. NONE.
