I believe we were discussing Russia... but it doesnt matter what organization it is, if it KILLS people with its "beliefs" in the Name Of God then it shouldnt be allowed to exist. If it HATES people in the Name of God it should not be allowed to rally people to its cause either. The Borg wants the entire human population to DIE soon except for themselves. Thats enough evidence for me that they are vile and evil.

There are some organization that just arent RELIGIOUS they are self serving cults and thats what the JWs are. They arent interested in saving anybody they are just interested in recruiting and self perpetuation.
I dont think the Klan is allowed to roam freely and do what they want to either...nor are communists. There is a limit and governments have to act on the basis of the greater good.

The desperation of JWs hoping the end comes "soon"
by sir82 ini'm starting to sense a certain desperation among jws, that they feel that the great tribulation must start soon.
i think this is due, in many cases, to their own personal situation, financial or otherwise.. if the gt doesn't come soon, and these guys really start to suffer - what then?
the watchtower's promises that "jehovah would not forsake them if they put kingdom interests first" by skipping or dropping out of college, turning down promotions, "simplifying" their lives by selling their homes and moving to the hinterlands...will all prove to be meaningless.. if the gt doesn't come soon, and "jehovah" doesn't bail them out...then what?.

This generation...like people my age or a bit older who did NOT see the Great Depression...think this is BAD. They dont have a means of comparison. I think my father who was in WWII and is 85 and was very very poor during the depression, when banks failed and people were committing suicide and there were NO jobs... and now lives in a nice suburban house and has great health care and retirement money...would beg to differ that this time is ANYWHERE NEAR as bad as that was. This is an economic slump for sure...but no way as bad. Or how about when MILLIONS of people were dying of the plague? Does a handful of people dying of swine flu qualify?
Nope...the JWs today are PRAYING for the end to come to end THEIR waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.....
