we all know that they say a lot of stupid things, but what really topped the cake?.
for me, it was an elder telling me i was progressing really well when my meeting attendance was down and my field service hours were slipping.

What a waste of money!
by Undecided inwe went out to eat with my daughter and husband tonight and on the way back i counted the churches on the 16 mile streach of road home.
there were 18 churches that were on this one road.
can you imagine the money that goes to pay the preachers and buy the buildings?

Ghosts and Hades: Another Watchtower Deception

if you read the watchtower, you might think that they dutifully followed jw teaching.
and had no idea about immortal souls or ghosts or punishment in hades.. .

Time for JW's to make a name change, one of Rutherford few that are left
by run dont walk inconsidering the majority, if not all of rutherford's teachings are all but dead, the only two i can think of that are still strongly supported are........... 1) heavens doors closed in 1935 (which is probaly on it's way out the door as well).
2) changing the name from international bible students to jehovah's witnesses.. so to completely eliminate rutherford what would the jehovah's witnesses change their name to next ?????????.

What is the best thing and worst thing about being a JW?
by micheal ini would say the best thing is when one has just started studying and coming to meetings for the first time they are treated like gold.
but things really start to detiroriate quickly from there.
the worst thing is the control.
