They way JWs treat those who disagree with them (not even greeting them, not even eating with them), and the way they treat woman (not giving them any leadership positions) put JWs as violators of the “Kingly Law” found in James 2:8, hence make them the “the disgusting thing stands in the holy place” and “Man of lawlessness.” Hence, when the Armageddon strikes, it could be the JWs who are going to be struck FIRST!

Does anyone remember the article which mentioned that many non-jws would survive armageddon?
by cultBgone ini seem to think it was a november wt issue but can't remember precisely, but it was probably printed within the last three years.
after being told for years and years that everyone not a jw would be destroyed, this was amazing to see in print!
yet when i pointed it out to others, they just shrugged it off and left me wondering what i was missing.... does this ring a bell with anyone?.

A Global flood has never occured for the following reasons:
1) Righteous man Noah and his family had to carry more burden than the people who were simply drowned to death—taking minutes to die (whereas Noah had to build an ark to accomodate all the species, a mammoth task for an 8-member family)—Certainly an idea that will not originate with God, who cannot punish the righteous more than the wicked!
2) God repented of his own act and promised: “He will never again bring a deluge...” (Genesis 9:11)—something not becoming of God
3) Jesus declares: God has never destroyed any wicked people, at any time in the history! (Mathew 5:44-48)

How long will it take for the GB to appologize to the victims of “Elderly” sex-abuse? It is never a possibility among JWs! Because their claim of being the sole channel of God is like a chain made of GOLD. They do not realize it is a bondage! Apologizing will be counterproductive! So is with their changes in their teachings—they have to make changes in their teachings because it originates with humans, yet have to claim to worship the God “who does not change” (James 1:17)

But an experiment conducted at the South Pole, two weeks back, has caught ripples in the oldest light in the universe. The scientists feel that these could be signs of gravitational waves rippling through the early universe shortly after the Big Bang. If confirmed, gravitational waves could validate the inflationary theory of creation. This suggests that the infant universe popped and expanded exponentially from a singularity immediately after the Big Bang. The new results also support the eternal recurrence of creation over and over again: that is the logic of the controversial multiverse hypothesis that if you can start one universe from a very small seed, its equally feasible to start other universes from small seeds. Thus, there is nothing unique about Big Bang, which becomes a reproducible event that could, and would, happen again, and again, and again.
However, this sends no shock-wave to the East where from the ancient time people have been believing that “our universe is not just one cosmic balloon but a fractal of balloons producing new balloons producing new balloons forever.” This goes with a God who declares: “I am tinier than the tiniest and the eternal seed of all creatures.” (Bhagavat Gita 7:10; 8:9)

2) Many scientists, like Thomas Edison, are on record saying they made their great inventions when they emptied their mind of all thoughts and were in a meditative state, thus connected to the universal consciousness. Yet JWs teach that when one empties his mind of all thoughts, he invites evil spirits ….. bla bla bla … Yet JWs have no problem using electric lamps and other comforts the scientists have given us!!!

by exWTslave inthats how my grand mother responded when all of our family members came out of jw organization, either by disassociation or by disfellowshipping.. when we all started studying with jws, my grandmother too was there, but she stopped the study when the discussion over the dead happened.
she told the study conductor: i am convinced that there is only life, but no death.
because when my husband died of heart attack, i was not shaken by the incident.

Yesterday when I told my grandma that I was going to quote her in my post, she simply brushed it aside saying: “Mine is very natural, ordinary encounter with the Witnesses—don’t quote me.” Yet I went ahead, and read out to her every comment of you, friends.
This is what she tells you all:
“What a fond memory (too precious) you all gave for me to cherish for the rest of my life, even though very few days are left before I die. I feel so light now, and feel proud of you, children of my heart. My love to you all. May God bless you all. I have tasted God’s goodness abundantly in my life, especially after my husband’s premature death, when I had to do everything single-handedly--as my husband assured me 'God took care of me literally.' God loves MORE the fearless, especially people like you!”
