I was a JW for many years. During those years I learned how to identify a false religion. All the other religions were easy to prove false. For some reason it took most of my life to look deep into my own religion. (WT.)
The organization has made many prophesies, giving dates when the end would come. None
ever came true. I kept falling for the old song, and dance, “The light gets brighter as we
move forward.” Well, one fine day my light bulb came on. “Those who make prophesies
that do not come true, are false prophets. God would never have false prophets lead his
people.”
My position today? It is very lonely being a servant of God alone. I miss having others
around who also believe. It has been 18 years since I left. I’m still standing alone. I am still
a servant of Jehovah. I don’t talk bad about the Watch Tower, or any other religion. Yes
they are all false, but most of the sheep are still Gods people. I pray when they find their
religion is false, they don’t also leave God…that is what Satan wants. Religions are a tool of
Satan. He uses them to turn people away from God. Has he turned you away?

I am sorry to call you by the name Data-Dog, I don’t know your real name. Many of us are surprised when the ground beneath our feet opens, and we fall helpless into a dark pit. All true servants of YHWH have, are, or will come under attack. Not once, nor twice, but as many times as they can take. You may lose every thing you now have, even your family. Whatever God allows, he allows for a reason of good, never for bad. I too lost everything I had, and loved. Everything. As it turned out, my wife, and two children were in the truth, but never had the truth in them. Gods separating work will go on until he closes the door. That was 18 years ago. My now ex-wife and children have had nothing to do with our God for all these years. The time to worry, is when you don’t come under attack. Here is a scripture for you: John 6:44. We don’t chose God, he chooses us.
God will free you from the Watch Tower. He will free you from all religions. 18 years ago I said to God, “This load is to heave, can you carry it for me?” He say he will, and he does.
You are property of the living God. You are never alone. This time will pass. This system will pass. We only have to put up with it for a short time…life on this side of paradise is short. When this system is gone, and you are in the new system…as Gen Patton told his men… “When this war is over, and your bouncing your grand kids on your knee, and they ask you, Grandpa, what did you do in the big war, You won’t have to say, ‘I shoveled shit in Georgia.”

I just noticed this tactic
by problemaddict inin reading terrys latest post, if made me think of something that exists and many of us have experienced but i have not really put into a logical thoughts process before.
in terrys 4 facts everyone should know about jw's, the second one referrs to the walsh trial where unity is said to be more important than truth, in no uncertain terms.. this made me think about how one would bring up this fact.
my mind wandered to the beginning of my fade, when inevitably, many of us open up our mouths and say too much.

There is a web sit, (I am banned from) “Friends of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” In truth they are not friends of Jehovah’s Witnesses, their goal is to re-trap those who escape from the JW’s.
What I liked about the site, it proved Russell did not start the Jehovah’s Witnesses. These make claim to be the people (generations down the road) Russell started, called, “Bible Students.” Their teaching is 100% Russell. I read most of what Russell used to teach.You can get a copy of his books on the site. These people believe Russell’s teaching over that of the Bible…The Watchtower is a branch of the same tree…the fruit is the same…leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Many Jw’s go on this site because they don’t have to use their real name…many who go on there claim to be Elders. This movement is getting bigger. Many who have been DF love it. They have gone from slavery, to slavery.

We are all sinners. None are better, or worse than any other. Jesus said, "You could not be good if you wanted to." That is an all telling statement. Will all people have life? I don’t think so. The Bible speaks about those God will destroy. The scriptures also says, "Those who believe in Jesus will have life." So it seems to me, those who do not believe in Jesus won’t. Here is a scripture I keep close; John 6:44. "No one can go to Jesus, unless the father has sent him." Over many years I have looked at religions. Those that teach what the Bible does not back up, I have marked as false. After all these years, I have yet to find a religion that is not false. That is not to say the people in those religions do not believe in God, nor that they will not be given life…after all, God has not posted a list of who will, or will not be given life.
I stand by the promise, believe in Jesus, and you will be given life. Simple requirement. I will admit, believing in God the Father, his son Jesus, and not having the support of others, (a religion) is not easy…but it’s better than being part of a false religion, or cult.

The JW's say: "The GB say today that the Earth is the centre of the Solar System and the Sun and all the other Planets revolve around the Earth."
I don't know if this is true or not.
Mathematically it could be…we move, or it moves. NASA was asked their view. Here was their reply. “For all missions, we make the earth the center. Not moving. It is easer to make calculations with the earth not moving. If we calculated the earth moving, it would be a complex calculation with all bodies in motion. We have no way of establishing if the earth moves, or if the solar system moves around the earth. This would hold true with and body in space.”
The Bible says, “Nothing can move the earth.” ????????????????

is it disturbing to you when an author jumps into the flow of history and radically departs in order to drive an important lesson home to the reader?.
in this novel i have several watch tower leaders meeting incredibly violent deaths at the hands of --well, i won't give anything away.

I believe you should first learn the history of Charles Russell, Judge Rutherford. Russell did not startt the Watch Tower, Rutherford did, after the death of Russell. There was a split between the people. Russell started, "The Bible Students." These are still around today. You can get more infor on what took place on this site.
Freinds of jehovah's Witnesses.
Keep in mind, both groups teach false doctrines. They both believe Jesus came back invisable to earth about 1877. Jesus said, "All eyes would see him when he returned."
The Bible Students teach, "All people will have life." Again this is false. They are both from the same tree, so how can their fruit be different?
As to the size of you book; if you are a new writer, publishers will not publish a big book. They won't spend the bucks on you. I would keep it between 60K-100K.
It seems you are writing the book for JW's? That is going to be a small market. As you already know...they are controled to not read things like you are writing. Besides, what you are saying, many others I'm sure, have already said.
If you are trying to say JW's, you can't. Do you remember what John 6:44 says?
