  Jw are moving from Door to Door realizing it is ineffective

  jw have announced that they will no longer be doing door to door as they have realized that the door to door salesman is on a decline.. now they will be putting all of their effort into cold calling via a telephone as they feel this will be more effective means to reach people.

  jw call centers will be set up at local kingdom halls so that all jw will now reach out to people via a hard copy of the yellow pages and white pages.

  they have seen the success of telemarketers and can't wait to try out this new and revolutionary way to reach people via a telephone.

  They have also planned to eventually shift to mailers via the Post Office by year 2020. They feel these mass mailers will reach all faster then by door to door and phone calls. All active JW will be required to stuff envelopes and lick stamps. The Chariot is full speed ahead!

  Their plan extends even further and they hope by year 2030 they will be sending only emails and think they have a new and improved method so that they won't be put into the spam folder. Yes, how quickly they will be able to reach people by sending out mass emails by the millions.

  If all else fails by year 2060 they have a new a revolutionary plan to join social media! Yes the chariot is really speeding things up in these last days! Only god's people clearly see how effective this means will be.

  By year 2100, this system permitting, they want to do charities. Help the old, give food to the homeless and assist the poor. This is still in talks though as they feel this may be an ineffective way to reach people and grow their members. They feel they would be the only ones doing this wonderful work. Further investigation is needed though as they don't want to do anything that may bring reproach upon their name.

  Before knowing TTATT did you really believe in things as...

  did you really believe in things as ;- the earth is only 6000 years old- the 144.000- 1914, based upon the destructiono of jerusalem- harmagheddon or the end of the world coming soon???

  ?i married a jw when i was an interested person and studying with the jw's ( not the way they wanted) but i told my wife before marrying her that " most probably " i would never have been a jw.she accepted me as i was and married me.

  after that i had interrupted the study for one year, i started all over again with an elder of my wife's cong.

  As a kid I really believed in 1914, GB, the whole thing.

  My issue that always bothered me was that I would see "worldly" people laughing, having a good time and I couldn't wrap my head around that god was going to destroy them. I'm talking around the age of 10 I couldn't figure that one out.

  That always stuck with me and as I grew up I still couldn't figure that one out, how all these people with a gift of life would be killed. Once I got into my 20's it spread from there and I started to dig and think outside the box. Now I don't believe in god haha. Funny how that works. Of course I believed that all as a kid because that's all I was around and all I knew.

  As I got older and got more "privileges" I started to see more corporate than religion. Now I pretty much don't believe any of it.

  Common guys this is the Pinky Ring club now. Even if one didn't agree he'd probably just suck it up and go with the flow.

  Why give it all up? They're in a "club", they'll be getting apartment type houses at Tuxedo once it's completed. Things are a lot different in Ray Franz day. Who knows, maybe none of them agree on the doctrines but all agreed to keep appearances and enjoy what they have!

  In Franz day people had more character. They actually cared about people and wanted to some what do the right thing. Today, it's all about money, inside and outside of the JW club.

  thank you for taking the time to study with me, read the bible, making me excluded from all school activities and friends so that my whole social life was surrounded by jw.

  Desirous, what's wrong did I hit a little too close to home? You sound like a person who can't admit when they're at fault. Big tough guy online. Probably a quite little shit in real life.

  You need to get over your rage, you hold a big grudge against the WT and family who don't talk to you when you were the one who joined. Please allow me to provide you with a quote that may help you on your journey.

  "Resolve today to forgive anyone who has ever hurt you in any way. Let it go. Refuse to discuss it again. Instead, get so busy working on something that is important to you that you don't have time to think about it again. "

  This post had nothing to do with me, I wrote it for whinny people like who who get all hurt when people won't talk to them, to see the other side of the coin. Get over it!

  Man if I took people to court as much as the WT does do you think I'd have any privileges in the congregation?

  Tax exempt should be taken away from religions. There should be some things that are exempt but not everything!

  Last of all I want to thank you for getting disfellowshipped. Thank you for putting me in that situation and then trying to communicate with me, expecting for everything to be normal after you raised me in this god forsaken religion. You centered my whole life around this! You made me 100% involved with no outside contact and expect me to just throw it all away because you decided to get DF. You don’t even have the courtesy to at least get reinstated so that I can easily talk to you! You expect everything and every way that you raised me just to go out the window after I have made my whole life around this religion! You don’t understand, I can’t just walk away! I now have a JW wife, responsibilities, friends and family all with expectations!

  You don’t understand that you put me in this situation and now YOU expect me to give it all up and have nothing just so I can talk to you! Thank you for raising me up this way, centering my whole life around this religion I don’t even believe in so you can just walk out and leave me holding the bag!

  I see what you're saying Desirous but he stated that he just wanted out and to not deal with them or try to get around anything. That's why I just suggested being who you are, stating what you believe and let them do what they want.
