so, i was reading combating cult mind control....and i was just thinking: since i've been doing research and learning about the false doctrines of the wtbs and others who are still asleep.
the more i accept that all is not right, the more i see the depression that many in the org.
are going through, the more i see the "human" side of things, the more i compare the average uber dub to the average mainstream christian.....the more i recognize how this cannot be jah's organazation.
Hey Falcon, am in a similar situation as you are & can relate to how you feel. Just discovered TTATT earlier this year & realized that we have been fed with a lot of spiritual bullsh*t! Am trying to fade now before I lose my sanity...
one of my main problems with the watch tower and, more specifically, with the governing body is the level of irresponsibility seen when lives of people are involved and their unapologetical attitude when people suffer due to their absurd policies.. how many people were imprisoned or killed for refusing to perform civil service in exchange for military service?.
we do not know, but it does not matter, because the society does not even apologize for the harm their blinking light caused.. how many people died or contracted illnesses due to the prohibition of vaccines?.
we might never know, but an apology is not on the menu.. how many people died for refusing (or disfellowshipped for accepting) fractions of blood when it was against the rules?.
Any idea how this 250,000 figure was derived? Would really like to know
yesterday local needs was this theme.
are you spiritually grown up.. summary: if you are between 18-35 and not ms or elder, you lazy idiot are like a child.
at this age, especially if you grew up in "da trooooth" you have no issue with jw.org doctrine right (how do you know...?
There is always work to do in Jehovah's organization. I'm glad that it's not me doing that "work"!
and if so what are our options?.
Searcher, the blind ones who are in the pit are not only content to stay in the pit, but they are also digging downwards & making the pit deeper!
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/wa/a/25697590/three-injured-as-car-hits-park-bench/.
an elderly driver crashed into a park bench in mandurah, western australia today where 3 jws were sitting.
they had set up their jw cart and their literature was also strewn across the ground.. one of the jws was seriously injured with head injuries.. what a freak accident this is.. .
Was he an apostate?

Local needs = guilt-tripping!
please share your experiences..
It is totally impossible for me to ever make it known to my family that I do not want to be a JW anymore. The best I can do is to fade, which I am still trying to do. It's not easy when most of the family are die-hard dubs!
my question is prompted by a post of terry's on his own thread about a parable for jw's.
in that post terry shows how the standard jw response to any report of sex abuse within the borg is to use the "no true scotsman" fallacy.. i.e "he was not a real jw".. my question is for some time in the future, when the true, horrendous, extent of abuse within the borg is public knowledge, and the cognitive dissonance grows for jw's about this being endemic in "god's organization" for so long, how will they excuse it, or explain it, then ?.
how will they push away the obvious conclusion that jehovah must have approved of this going on, or he would have rectified it, not left it to the courts to pick up the broken pieces years later ?.
They would simply say that just as there were unrighteous ones in the first century Christian congregations, it is the same today and therefore we cannot expect Jehovah's modern day organization to be perfect!
I once heard this JW arguement:
God DOES NOT kill. Killing is done by those who CANNOT give that life back again. Jehovah does not kill, he simply takes away the lives of people who are disobedient but he has the ability to grant them life & restore life to them again if he wants to!
