  Demoted from elder to MS, anybody ever heard of this?

  so a friend in a nearby hall told me their co came through, and in a hellish week of long meetings and inquisition overhauled the boe.

  only one remains as elder, three were re-appointed as ms, and one, the cobe was deleted entirely.. two new elders were brought in as new secretary and cobe / watchtower conductor, respectively, and introduced to the congregation from the platform on sunday immediately following his second talk.

  he reminded everybody of the authority he has and then named the new appointees.

  then another person came out and the line started getting drawn in the sand.

  you now had two groups of people.

  Just like the women in the Cosby case, the more people that come out and tell there JW horror stories and experiences of borg life the bigger this snowball will become.

  Disfellowshipped people are quickly reinstated / Japan

  i hear a number of disfellowshiped are quickly reinstated in acertain circuit in japan.one disfellowshipped person who are obviously in worldly.

  clothings, attended a meeting.whole congregation thought that person was not yet sincerely repented,but, announcement was made that the person was reinstated.branch office and circuit overseers are eager to bringdisfellowshiped back to the organization.local elders are not very pleased about it..

  incredibly, fred franz once announced at a district convention: "yesterday a sister approached me and said, brother franz, why do we have to keep our children up so late just so they can attend the meetings?

  i responded sister ***, would you rather have a tired child or a dead child?".

  *cue rapturous applause*.

  Firstly those kids in the photo are obviously sleeping off an all night bourbon bender (the stress of having to sit through a convention.)

  Secondly, I would like to say that a rested, educated, safe from pedophiles child is better than a brain dead child of a cult!!

  jw profess to see that sign.

  a "sign" means evidence from god.

  The sort of shock one feels at being treated so outrageously by the "brothers" who you have dedicated your life to could be compared to a fratricide of sorts. "How can this happen in God's organization" is a common and understandable reaction.

  i might go to the meeting.

  i stopped going in my heart properly in nov 2013, but i went to a couple of meetings to support a love one that was df'd and tried to teach them a little ttatt.. now another df'd loved one is coming to see me today and will likely encourage me to try and get ri'd, and i want to support her.

  the elders told my mom they obviously could have come after me but are holding hope that i will return to jehovah and be reunited to the congregation.. isnt that nice?.

  That's interesting minimus.

  So if you think about it they are admitting that "going after someone" can actually have the reverse effect and push them further away.
