I could never understand the point of these campaigns.
I mean, come on, JW meetings would have to be up there with the most un-user friendly meetings out there. Especially for anyone who hasn't had any previous indoctrination they are incomprehensible.
The JW jargon, the "Jehovah this Jehovah that's" every five seconds, the bunch of unspoken rules of engagement and etiquette that is observed by the brainwashed majority that attend. It's a very strange, very exclusive social club of wanna be social and spiritual elites who's default setting with "interested ones" is one of snide condascension.
this new broadcast features interviews with bethelites from south africa that were fired reassigned to the ministry field.
i almost feel sorry for these people who gave their all thinking they would be taken care of for who-knows how many years.
however they were let go in the blink of an eye.
Because of the dog eat dog environment of most congs JWs are territorial. I imagine there will be some serious turf wars breaking out when the ex-bethelites come to town and expect to get a slice of the local pie.

i had a more important one with my other apostate friends in the area.
134 attended the CO visit.
118 average attendance.
Wow! The cong I'm suposedly in was over 90 average attendance midweek and over 100 on Sunday 8yrs ago.
Now - Barely reaches 40 midweek and 50 on Sunday.
Never see thm doing D2D anymore either, only 3 or four years back groups were regularly seen.
ok, this probably applies to most faith systems that believe in any sort of afterlife, but i would like to know what sort of explanation the jw's would come up with for this little problem, you know, after armageddon on earthly paradise.
sorry if i sound dumb, but it's been nagging at me for a few weeks and have to ask.. so, what if a young married jw couple are living their life, waiting for the big a, knowing they will be together in the earthly paradise, then very sadly one of them dies.
from what i know, if a jw dies, that's it.

How will the Governments get people on board to accept the target amount of Muslim refugees when the press go around calling out Islam when calling out Islam makes many people nervous about accepting large amounts of muslim refugees. Not saying calling out muslim terrorists is either good or bad -maybe yes maybe no, just wondering about the ulterior motives on the part of the Governments and the EU.

according to christianity, the death of jesus was a miscarriage of justice.
so then, what if there was no so-called miscarriage of justice so that jesus was not put to death by the romans but he instead died a natural death?
would christians still receive the forgiveness of their sins and their hoped for salvation?.
Death by cross was probly considered a "natural" death in the first century.😉
