  .. the new wbt$ donation arrangement/ jw kingdom hall bank account theft... is a very hot topic right now... the wbt$ is literally going to clean out kingdom hall bank accounts,filled with donations from jws... that theft is going to happen world wide..the wbt$ is going to steal from 7 million plus jw`s... .. we have jw elders here on jwn,that know whats going on... they "serve" in kingdom halls,they are "supposed" to be looking after the welfare of the average jw... they know there is a 4 page letter,only one page will be read to the congregation..the rest will be kept secret... they know the wbt$ is about to steal jw donations..on a world wide scale!!!...

  .. i would like to know what you active jw elders are going to do about this??!!...

  are you going to let "your" congregation know about the other 3 secret pages?...

  by lunchtime our entire world have changed dramatically.

  america had passed into a new era that would lead to major changes.

  Something has got to give. No organisational structure can support that amount of BS indefinitely.

  It's a case of adapt or die for the The Bible Students, The Society, WBTS, jwborg or whatever it morphs into next.

  Maybe they will go all PAGAN- People Against Goodness And Normalcy.

  Would You Become A JW Again If Local Congregations Could Become Independent?

  for those who still believe in god, if local congregations could break away from the watchtower would you consider becoming a witness again.

  this would mean no more governing body, circuit overseers, watchtower magazines, and each congregation could have its own "new light".

  most of us left because of the control (no college, disfellowsipping) but if the watchtower was out of the picture, all of this would disappear.

  Even a "breakaway" congregation left to it's own devices would eventually dissolve into social fueds and power grabs, the loudest and the most aggressive individuals and families would have their way, making life unpleasant for those that don't aggree- that's just what humans do.

  The WT is most of the problem, but there are also quite a few individual JWs that get off on lording it over others.

  Nice idea, but I think I would pass on that one.

  You never know though, you may get your wish one day, if the GB keep driving people away.

  Surely there would have to be breakaway groups already?

  it may be argued it started out ok , but soon turned to crap with mismanagement.

  the first big booboo came when jehovah chose abels sacrifice over cains .

  (jehovah) choose a man who slaughters one of his own creations , spilling blood , murdering if you will one of his own creations , then approving him over a man , cain ?

  Good point, I always reckoned Cain got a bum rap because of that insufferable kiss-ass Abel.

  But it goes back further because the "serpent" deliberately deceives poor Eve, the youngest and therefore the dumbest creation he could find.

  And instead of chasing this creepy snake out of the garden, God makes Adam choose between his beloved mate that he waited so long for and himself. And God should have known as Adam's manufacturer what organ men think with! Of course Adam was gonna choose the sex! sheesh!

  Effectively guaranteeing centuries of suffering . Yeah, nice one.

  When I say "intellectual equal" I don't necessarily mean equal education or equal IQ test scores.

  Intelligence comes in different forms that are not always quantifiable. There are all sorts of "smarts" out there.

  Just whether deeper levels of communication, (and in turn understanding) can be achieved within an intellectually, or (if you prefer) mentally-lopsided relationship.Or would it present too many communication challenges that ultimately contribute to the breakdown of the relationship.

  Is shallow better off marrying shallow or do opposites like "beauty and the geek" for example, really attract?

  It has come to our attention that due to excessive amount of no-hoper brothers refusing to accept our loving provision to reach out and be appointed as an official BOE's bitch.

  This invitation will now be extended to sisters and children in good standing, (it's so hard to find good help these days!).

  We are pleased to announce the release of GBTV. Where for a small monthly "donation" you can recieve 24hr news and updates, aswell as drama, a new bethel sitcom and the latest nu-lite announcements including live interactive merciful disfellowshippings in the all new JC "thunderdome" style arena.

  We are pleased to announce that weather permitting we have penciled in armageddon for the 12th of never..

  Can White JWs Have Mustaches?

  someone mentioned in another thread that white jws can't have mustaches but black jws can.

  i noticed that the only governing body member with a mustache is black.

  can anyone confirm that this is an official policy?

  I doubt the "brostache" is an "official" policy.

  But that wont stop individual elders taking exception to anyones facial fur (including sisters).
