A small update on the ongoing investigation by the Royal Commission
by umbertoecho ini think you people would like to know that since the public hearing has finished.
there has been ongoing contact made to me by the staff at the rc.
they have been inundated with calls and the same experiences or similar ones are being related.. the staff are not backwards in coming forwards with insights that they have shared.

Thanks for the update, I had a feeling of let down after case 29 concluded, not because I felt nothing was accomplished, on the contrary, I think it has started a ball rolling that will continue to gather speed.
It just stirred up the memories of what it was like being a female in the cong and having no voice.

I know in my area apostate alerts travel fast, so you could be right about them being annoyed.
I find it interesting how all it takes is just a simple question or even a greeting can set them off, and you get to meet the real them - the one with teeth, ready to commit violence because you are the enemy "apostate."
If I see one in the supermarket now, they act like I should be apologizing for breathing it takes all my resolve and confidence to remain unaffected. So well done for how you handled it.
