  don’t know how i ended up here but no one who understands will listen, or any one who will listen doesn’t understand.

  i grew up in the “truth”, i was baptised at 17 as it was encouraged by the elders.

  i really didn’t understand what i was getting into.

  You have discovered what most of us here have discovered ie JWs are a cold, heartless religion and their disfellowshipping process is nonsensical. Sometimes I think it's only their nastiness that keeps them going as a group.

  And yes in their eyes you will always be "marked" in some way no matter how hard you try so don't bother trying you will only hurt yourself more by trying to jump through their imaginary hoops because there will always be more hoops with these people.

  Try to to do some research on your own and take care of yourself.

  You don't need their permission to live nor their approval to be happy.

  Nature is amazing :)

  i studied biology at uni and specialised in animal biology (wolf behaviour) but i've always liked natural history.. even if i never went to uni, i'd still be amazed by nature and i'd still watch nature programs on tv.. i'd like start a thread where posters can post nature clips that are in some way amazing.. the vid below shows wild wolves in the canadian arctic encountering humans for the first time.. these wolves haven't been exterminated by human hunters and therefore haven't learnt to fear humans.

  result: wild wolves approach human strangers almost like dogs.

  Yes the documentary Blackfish sheds light on the psychopathic corporate mentality of the seaworld industry. They don't care about the animals or the people they hire to care for them. They lie to both the trainers and the public about the animals behavior and needs. In fact the trainers are the only ones who really care about the animals.

  yesterday they started a three part series on hasidic jews living mostly in brooklyn and new jersey and how they take advantage of the system and at the same time rule with an iron hand for bidding the use of modern technology, smart phones, tv etc .

  if you think the witnesses are bad, take a look at them.

  they ostracize you and kick your children out of their schools and treat you as nonexistent !

  Yes, i agree the control this group has over its people is OTT. It seems a bit sad and rather ironic that this sort of oppression of human beings that is perpetrated by a religion exists in the home of the "free."

  Anyway back to important things like the mysterious case of the strange Trudeau double-brows.

  If they are "enhanced" in any way they look more like a "weave" than a "wig" that is fake eyebrow hair weaved or glued into the existing natural eyebrow to give the appearance of a more full lustrous manly brow.

  JW stopped me in the street.....

  he pulled up in his car beside me and asked for directions, then he recognized me, we used to be in the same congo.. the usual pleasantries, i gave him directions, and then "when are you going to come back then" he asks.. "never" i say, "well, it has all changed" he says, " it's not like it used to be" i detect a tone of regret.. "but you know there is nowhere else to go" he boldly proclaims.. "yes there is !

  " say i, "there is somewhere where you can find truth, and truth is supported by facts and evidence ".

  he had to drive off then as he was blocking a narrow street, i did not get time to say " go to jw facts.com", i will tell him next time..
