Am I missing something?
Yes. It wasn't 'brothers,' it was 'men.' The OP was mistaken. This is the exact quote:
(3h16m approx.)
"Now. What role do those with an earthly hope play? Ho, oh boy. Very important role. Very important role. His illustration of the sheep and the goats teaches us that those with the earthly hope have the honor of loyally supporting Christ's brothers.
"I remember telling a friend of mine once where I wasn't treated too well in this particular branch territory, and I said to my friend, 'Well, it's not me they need to worry about - it's my big Brother. [Audience laughs] That's who they better worry about.' Yeah, we gotta pray for those men over there. [More audience laughter] So during these last days the two groups that work together as one flock, zealously carrying out the work. ..."
By the way, I missed it too. A lurker brought that detail to my attention

Hey everyone. I think we might have run away with the idea that fellow JWs at the Branch weren't treating AMIII too well when, actually, it was the Branch territory. He said 'we gotta pray for those men' - not brothers. It sounds like he had some opposition while, say, in Field Service or on his travels as a speaker, whatever, but the mistreatment was more likely by non-JWs.
It's stll obvious why he told the story ('loyally support us, sheeple, or else big Bro. Jesus is gonna get ya') and his smugness made me nauseous. Romans 10:12, anyone?

There was more Orwellian content before the 'they oughta be worried about my big brother' comment.
At about 3h11m, after raising questions about the parable of the talents that are going to be discussed, he says,
"Now I thought I would just quote our new Kingdom book at this point, and Brother Splane helped us to understand - sometimes we'll have cherished teachings, we've been saying it for decades, and we trust the brothers that printed it decades ago and that's fine, but when it's time then we need to adjust our thinking if the teaching's being adjusted. It's not complicated. [Audience laughs; AMIII shrugs and laughs] And we all just treasure our new Kingdom book. There's so many wise things in there, illustrations, artwork - you can't find any place else other than Bethel and other than the book. So here's what we said on page 37, paragraph 18 - and you'll see how it applies to this and to what you just heard with Brother Lett and you'll hear here and you're going to hear with Brother Jackson, by the way:
"'Just as Jehovah progressively revealed truths about the Kingdom in the period leading up to 1914, he continues to do so during the time of the end. ... God's people have had to adjust their understanding on a number of occasions. Does that fact mean that they do not have Jehovah's backing? On the contrary! He supports them. Why? Because those who fear Jehovah have displayed two qualities that he loves - faith and humility. Jehovah's servants have faith that all the promises in God's Word will come true. They show humility when they admit that they misunderstood exactly how those promises would be fulfilled.' Or the teachings. 'That humble attitude is reflected in the March 1, 1925, issue of The Watch Tower,' - and this is profound back in 1925, quote: '"We know that the Lord is his own interpreter, that he will interpret his Word to his people in his own good way and in his own due time."'
"Jehovah's running this organization. He's the rider of the chariot and we're pleased to follow the best we can and keep up with it."
On other words, Jehovah's running the show and progressively revealing truths to His Org but His Org has misunderstood those revealed truths, but that's OK and we can still trust the Org because, when the Org realizes they misunderstood His revealed truths, they can humbly say 'oops, Lord, my bad' each time and adjust their understanding to the 'correct' interpretation (which might not be correct in the long run depending on whether or not the Org misunderstood God's revealed truths yet again). Even though the Org has taught cherished UNtruths for decades, Jehovah has allowed it and still supports it! Anyway, it's not complicated: when the Org makes changes to teachings and practices, just be obedient, nodding sheeple and suck it up because Jehovah's running the show ... . (Circularreasoningworksbecausecircularreasoningworksbecause...)
What a mindjob! So again,
Either
- Jehovah is purposefully giving His Org the run-around which means He is a capricious deity and can't be the God of Truth.
Or
- The Org is just doing its own thing, taking interpretational stabs in the dark and hoping something sticks, in which case Jehovah can't be running the Org.
You can't have it both ways, Tony.

Another one hooked here. This season's first episode ramped up the 'Eww' factor and grabbed your attention by the throat (in more ways than one).
