  Let's tally up, what has the WTS sold and how much money did they receive?

  For info the Irish branch is still up for sale. Hasn't been sold yet as the Irish economy is suffering big time.

  Gay here too. I posted on your other thread. I'm unfortunately still physically in and an MS. However I'm intending on 'coming out' both with being exJW and gay very soon. The emotional struggle to get to this point has been immense and I only wish I'd been able to do it earlier. Still; I can't wait for the future!

  The circle doesn't encompass Malta or Crete or Italy...all places mentioned in the New Testament. Although as the god of the New Testament didn't really ever 'act' I suppose this is true to an extent.

  i have been lurking for a while but was encouraged to sign up by a user on the ex jw reddit forum.

  i'm a still in jw but i've been mentally out for about two months.

  i'm an ms and i'm also gay so i have two lots of 'coming out' to do very soon!.

  @ABibleStudent - yes I was born in. I have done some reading into the BITE model and wow was it eye opening. Haven't read his book though so maybe I should. Thank you.

  @Kate - I'm not especially close to my parents, awful as that sounds. I'm hoping that coming out to them as gay will have more of an impact on them than telling them the TTATT will. They're too blinded (and I've already tried). However they do have emotions so I think appealing to them on an emotional level is the only way they'll understand...

  @quellycatface. Have already done that! My responsibilities have been removed but they're reluctant to take me off as an MS. But I think it may be better this way as announcement removing me as an MS would make me memorable again....

  @DJS Thank you. Yes I know I need to be careful; I've already slipped up a few times.

  And thanks for the warning re: the forum! As my eyes have been opened that the world is not the wicked place I've been taught, I'm becoming more aware that the actions and words of a minority can affect the stereotype of the majority. Don't worry, I know not all apostates are the same. ;)

  @jgnt yes I have a hazy exit plan. I have already had my responsibilities removed at my request. My exit plan involves moving far away so I don't think an LGBT support group will be much help, yet.
