we all know watchtower doesn't encourage their members do research for themselves.
can anyone point out any articles where it mentions this?

Yes, the very notion of "Free will" being highlighted as a gift proves that it is NOT free, as it has been "bestowed" onto humans... therefore negating the very idea of it being "free"

Not some book that is supposedly his word ; because that word shows him to be a disturbingly messed up deity.
Also, don't point to "the world around us" ; as there are numerous evidences to prove there was no "intelligent design" behind that.
So, again, show us the proof... without such proof, the hypothesis that "atheists will turn to God on their death bed" makes no sense!

we decided to add the graphic showing my name and position so that you are all made aware that i'm a big cheese among jehovah's witnesses.
for example, i'm not backward about being forward!
so when i made a speech against wearing tight pants some thought i'd be deleted from the governing body!

spent all day yesterday writing two episodes and recording and editing one podcast of this jw life.
so, episode 4 of my podcast is now out.
i took a minute away from my story (though it is still laced throughout this one) to lay out what goes on inside of a kingdom hall, who the players are, what they believe, and hopefully set a foundation that will help explain my story as one.

here in holland jw.org is organizing for the first time the yearly conventions like circuits.
the whole summer the new convention hall is used for small group conventions instead of 10.000 seat external halls.. it keeps the money in the organization.
not renting external buildings.. the 29.000 witnesses here are divided now into 2.000 seat audience.. g..
One "upside" of this is for "spiritual young ones" who can now visit several assemblies in a row "to check out the talent".
Also, one advantage for faders is that they can just pretend to have attended a different convention weekend from their "assigned " one...and slip into the cracks...
