  1) god is shown to be forcing jonah against his will.

  (god would not go against the free-will of his children because history shows: he doesn’t punish atheists nor does he do any favors to theists).

  Yep.... the whole "factual account" is kind of let down by the idea of living inside a fish for three days....

  Serioulsy, any biblical believer who takes this as a literal account is down right crazy....

  according to the bible , one of adam's first assignments was to name all the animals including the sea creatures and dinosaurs of course.

  i had a conversation with my dad concerning the legal cases the jws are loosing and how their policies are still lacking.

  he answered that he has confidence that jehovah will give his people the wisdom and discernment necessary to make the changes.

  i then explained that most of the improvements were made as a result of various court cases, including the australian commission.. my dad: well, than, jehovah uses the governments to discipline his people just like he did with the jews.

  In need of your advice. November broadcasting 2017

  so my mum asked me to watch the broadcast and to my astonishment i got through it without smashing my screen haha.. so i let her know what liars they are for saying they would never deliberately distort a quotation.. she is ok for me to give her some printouts of watchtower material where this has in fact happened, contry to what they say.. where should i start and what would be your best link, or way to approach this.

  i think this is a good opportunity of waking her up, if she can see that the broadcast has lied to her, she won't be happy.. any advice is you can give is so appreciated.. thanks everyone..

  omg my head exploded!in this months broadcast - splian goes off on how much care the wt in making sure its facts are correct, and how they make sure their quotes are not taking from people who have a bad reputation or have an agenda.

  and that the make sure its always in context!.

  The best method a hypocrite uses is to raise the topic first in an attempt to make it look like they own the higher ground.

  Then they can accuse anyone else of the VERY thing they THEMSELVES are doing.

  It is a classic diversionary tactic.

  The thing is, WE SEE THROUGH this attempt to whitewash the facts.

  I never used to buy into the idea that the GB / Society were deliberately deceptive. I thought they were simply deluded. NOW though, I see that they are indeed hypocritical and deliberately deceptive!
