Does "Hanlon's Razor" apply to the Governing Body?

i recently learned of the term "hanlon's razor".. wikipedia defines it as: .

hanlon's razor is an aphorism expressed in various ways including "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

" it recommends a way of eliminating unlikely explanations for a phenomenon (a philosophical razor).. so could it be said that this applies to the gb / society ?.

Why "Most high"?

if there were only one god, why do we encounter the expression, "most high god"?.

is this not indicative of polytheism, and of levels (or degrees) of god-ness?.

Generally, people who are social misfits, or craving something in life, are the ones who accept a "utopian" message of hope.

Rarely if ever does a well educated, "normal" person accept "The Truth"!

So could it be said that this applies to the GB / Society ?

Are the GB just simply deluded, and genuinely believe their own teachings and claims? Or could it be said that they don't really think they are God's sole channel on earth, but have inherited a huge religious entity tand body of teachings that they have to take control of and propagate?

Difficulty fading out

this is my first post on here so i apologize that it is like an essay!.

my husband and i are currently 'fading out' of the truth.

we stopped preaching in may 2016 and limited meeting attendance in january 2017 and stopped completely in june 2017. my main reason for this was my whole life i have been doing things to please others, even getting baptized to please my mum.

Lovely to have you guys here!

In addition to all of the great advice already offered, may I simply share a couple of things?

Learn to maintain your Dignity, Poise and Grace throughout these "proceedings". Be calm and in control.

If approached or contacted by anyone, especially Elders,be polite, but DO NOT GET DRAWN INTO A CONVERSATION. Simply say "Thanks____, But I trust you will respect appropriate boundaries" and wish them a good day.

The best principle is "LESS IS MORE" (The less said, the more power you hold)

Also, a great thing to keep in mind is: "The ONLY power people have over you is that which you allow"

You may PRETEND to care - in reality you are SELFISH!

that;s what my wife (and all jw's) gets to hear about us at the kingdom hall today, (hmmmm, i wonder if she'll raise her hand to answer this one) ... .

watchtower study ... today, apostates and others who create divisions in the congregation use “smooth talk and flattering speech.” (romans 16:17, 18) they may pretend to care about others, but in reality, they are selfish.. (the watchtower - study edition (simplified version) 10/17 page 4 paragraph 7).

OH WOW!!

How dare they imply that anyone who leaves is no longer capable of being a genuinely caring person!

I have loved approaching all my former "friends" in the area when I see them at the shops or on the street. I am my usually friendly, caring and polite smiling self.

NOW I see why they act extra reserved and withdrawn! They have been conditioned to think that this is just some sort of sly tactic I am using to try and "get to them!"

What a deplorable and manipulative tactic by the GB!
