the other day my wife and i were in sonoma.
we were just walking around enjoying the pleasant afternoon in the quaint, old downtown area when i saw two jw women standing by their “witnessing cart.” .
normally, i just ignore them whenever i see jws standing by a cart, but i gotta admit it: this time it really bugged me because of the title on the cart: find family happiness.

I perfectly understand your reaction to their hypocritical message!
I likewise called out the hypocrisy of the witnesses message once when they highlighted the cartoon drawing clip for youths that spoke out against gossip and slander. ("What makes a true friend " or something like that)
The VERY THING that all our former "friends" did was gossip about us and slander our names!
So such hypocrisy needs to be called out.
i have been wanting to write a book for kids who grow up in the borg or near the borg.
it would be non offensive and factual.
i am putting the chapters together.

To be honest though, I don't think that the GB have thought that far ahead with any grand plan. I think they are just doubling down on "OBEY US" or else stuff. They haven't yet thought of what that actually involves...they are not that bright....

Haha! yes, I am cerrtainly no longer stuck in a rut either!
I originally chose my name as i was stuck as an appointed man in the cong, active in all aspects, but mentally out!
So i chose stuckinarut2 ( as in "I am stuck in a rut as well" ) as i knew there were many others in my situation.
I am now well and truly out ; and so thankful too! My wife is also out, hence her user name choice here 'unstuck'

at a recent coag {,council of australian governments} meeting the subject/issue of states & territories to sign up for a national redress scheme to compensate victims of institutional abuse sexual and otherwise fell on deaf ears.. not one state or territory agreed to sign up .
not one.. i am sure the victims of child sexual abuse within various institutions not only the jehovah`s witnesses victims would be very disheartened to learn that.individual states and territories of government within australia do not support a national redress scheme to compensate victims of child sexual abuse .. the south australian govt.
to my understanding is they will never do so .
All it will take is one braves state to say yes, and the others will then feel morally compelled to do likewise.
Almost like positive peer pressure...

i happen to be one of very few people who know of this condition that the man has.
