E-mail chains that became doctrine
by paradiseseeker indigimon, pokemon, hello kitty, "waka waka" by shakira... are things that all of a sudden became frowned upon because of a random menopausal jw housewife that read an e-mail chain that said that those things were satanic.
furthermore, we were explicitly warned about pokemon and waka waka from the platform of a district convention.
have you experienced more examples of such mastery of critical thinking?

I thought all "false religion" had to be destroyed first?
by stuckinarut2 init struck me that the organisation has taught that before jehovah's people would be "attacked" by the governments, all of "babylon the great" would have to be destroyed first?.
yet, what do we see worldwide?
governments of all sorts have either already, or are in the process of massive investigations and enquiries into the organisation!.

It struck me that the Organisation has taught that BEFORE Jehovah's people would be "attacked" by the Governments, ALL of "Babylon the Great" would have to be destroyed first?
Yet, what do we see worldwide? Governments of all sorts have either already, or are in the process of massive investigations and enquiries into the Organisation!
All things ranging from Child Abuse mishandling, to Financial and 'charitable' status are being questioned. Many more issues are resulting in the Society having to invest great deals of time and money to defend itself!
So, did they get the timing of the "prophecy" wrong, or what?

in recent years, the word bullying has been thrown around a lot, and often misused by instigators and subtle bullies themselves.
in this picture we learn that your loving family who wants to continue sharing a family tradition with you, who hands you a beautifully wrapped present with a smile on their face, is in fact bullying you.
