by minimus ini know many of us felt we were doing "god's work" and did not have to spend time with our families or even do things for ourselves.
our only focus was the ministry and the "truth"....... did you too, neglect yourself and your family??

Why Preaching From House to House Is a WASTE and a SCAM!
by minimus inlogic tells us that the "preaching work" is alot to do about nothing.
knocking on doors when no one is home is a stupid waste of time!
the odds of finding a bible study that gets baptized after leaving a person a tract or magazine has got to be ridiculously low.

It always has amazed me how much time I was in field service and how little people were at home. Talk about spinning wheels!!!
I always felt the "time" could have been more productive visiting the sick or elderly in the KH or truly helping your neighbor or just being a good samaritan!

The last International Convention in Houston?

They broke ground on my new house!!! :D
by Elsewhere inthis is a pic looking down on the lot of my new house from the second story window of another new house.
when finished it will be 2005 square feet and one story.. .
in the foreground is the back of the house and in the distance will be the front of the house.

How do you cheer yourself up?
by Sirona inif your jw family upset you, or if you're having "one of those days" (or weeks, or months .
is there anything that you actively do to counter the negative feelings?.
i usually try to go into "look after myself" mode and spend some time alone just relaxing or having a good cry .

well....................get out of the house, go driving,....play my favorite cd: "Evananescence" and sing as loud as I can. (I sing a lot like her to!!)
I have been known to mix me a few "crown and cokes" too.......lol...at home...not on the road of course!
