  ONLY take her to classy restaurants.......

  Respect is huge in a relationship you if wish to keep that relationship!

  This whole fear issue

  i have some friends who are christians.

  i have gone to their church a few times.

  never once have i heard them or anyone else say they have to attend services.

  I'm so angry!!!!!!

  well it looks like my plan to fade might not work after all.

  yesterday afternoon i was in my office when two elders stopped by for a visit.

  they came into my job and began to question me in front of my boss and my new assistant!

  They had no business being at your place of work: that is spiritual harrassment!

  I am glad you have a wonderful, caring boss. I am sure after that event, HE will never talk to another JW again because of their lack of respect for "workplace".

  I would contact a doctor and get the incident "documented". You had an super anxiety attack and I feel so bad for you.

  I had the elders come to my workplace, but not for the same reason as you. My ex was going to a different congregation and was asking for reinstatment. Those elders came to my workplace and started asking me PERSONAL questions: I felt ABUSED. Why would they want to stir up my emotions when I was a single MOM supporting a teen ager? I reported them to my local elders and they were PISSED. They said NO elder is ever to come to your place of business.

  UPDATE 2: Since Freedom is Free, Why is it Taxed?

  yesterday after school i had to go work on a project with friends.

  mom said be home by 5, but there was a huge accident a mile from where i live, and i sat on the road for like 10 - 12 minutes, and was 5 minutes late getting home.

  mom was there (didn't go to work- guess why) and she was pissed.

  Richie: IF your Mom is taking all your hard earned money and NOT allowing you to use your car after school or work, why don't you move out now? Is the car titled in YOUR name? Do you have a friend you can temporarily live with, until you get enought money to live on?

  I personally wouldn't let my MOM do that to me. She is going to kick you out anyway?

  Pack up all your stuff ASAP and leave!!!

  IF you lived near me, I would gladly give you a room to stay in till you figured something more permanent out!

  So, why did I meet with the elders?

  this is my explanation as to why i met with the elders today.

  when i agreed to meet with the elders last week i had made up my mind to just go in and be honest with them.

  i was going to tell the elders that i no longer believed this to be the truth, and then i was just going to walk away.

  I don't think anyone here should make you feel bad for a decision "that works for you". WE don't walk in your shoes, only you do.

  I am a successful fader of 3 years. Yes, fading has anxiety, but it's an anxiety that I can live with, and only I know what is best for me.

  I was raised as a JW too.........found out the real truth about the truth(tm) when I was 45. Saw the last 10 minutes of the May 2002 Dateline special exposing the pedophiles withing the WTBS!

  My Memorial Experience

  i take public transit to & from work.

  i walk past a "historic" theater on a daily basis.

  as i walked past this theater, there were about 8-10 j-dubs waiting for the theater to open so they can get the "best" seats.
