  my favourite is the time we had the co and his wife for lunch after field service, and my mum swore in front of them.

  well cant remember any good ones ive witnessed...only been.

  I remember once, when i was about 18...I got up ...went out to lounge , and 2 brothers were sitting on the sofa....bad thing being...i was only wearing a atari t.shirt and gstring...i didnt know anyone was visiting...

  WT's Airplane Damaged -Again- Visiting Another Fishing Lodge

  Help! Any Vitamin experts out there?

  i just bought some bee pollen capsules.

  they are 550 mg each and i am to take two twice a day.. i already take a multi-vitamin that has 25mg of bee pollen powder in it.

  i take two a day.. so that is a total of hmmmmmmmm..... 1,150 mg of bee pollen.

  I think bee polen is bad for people who suffer from asthma etc...so if you dont it should be cool..

  bee polen is pretty rich stuff....

  just be careful you dont come out in hives. (no pun intended) :P

  does anyone remember being a child as a JW and not having holiday?

  i am curious to know how many others shared the same experiences as me as a child, growing up as a jw.. surfing this board has brought back a flood of memories ( i am secure enough to deal with them) not all good.

  i have been away from jws for sometime, and remember being a child in school and having to explain why i do not salute the flag, why i have to leave the room when there is a birthday or christmas party, why i had to explain when i was seen going door to door ( i grew up to be a pioneer).

  being "different" is hard for a child.. now that i have 3 children of my own, who are fortunatelly not growing up as jw, to see how secure and well adjusted they are in school is comforting.

  Received letter from wtbs re Vicki Boer

  i got 2 replies to my letters this morning.

  one was from my local mp saying he had passed my letter to another minister and the foreign and commonwealth office are investigating to see if its an appropriate issue to raise, and the other was from the wbts of britain.

  the letter reads as below, and i would appreciate your comments on it, and some good qoutes to include in a reply.. .

  Little toe..

  I recieved a email from a 'ex' jw friend...guess she forgot to take me out of her address book...it was CC' lol.

  anyway...they must be going into over drive about it, because in this email it was...incredibly nasty stuff.

  "she was greedy see what happens...it backfired'' etc etc...

  I hit reply , and didnt get once answer back. Typical.
