@anony mous, the most premature baby ever to survive was at 21 weeks. As science moves so do our laws. So then make the cutoff 20 weeks.

Roe vs Wade Overturned by US Supreme Court!
by Simon ini know there was a leak a few weeks back, but this really does seem to have come out of the blue.. the anomaly was the original decision.
it clearly had no basis in law or the constitution, and was a flimsy, ridiculous ruling.
plus the whole thing was based on a fraudulent case in the first place.. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-61928898.

@seabreeze Viability before 22 weeks is zero. There is no dependability. The body cannot depend on anything and still survive at that stage. Every example you give is after the person being born and they have a very high level of viability. I only proposed abortions before there is any chance of a life ever functioning on its own. If your answer is i don’t believe abortion is ever acceptable, that is fine. There are millions that agree with you.

Viability is no matter what you do the fetus wont survive. In medicine that is 22-24 weeks. To take all guessing out of the equation, I would say make the cutoff 21 weeks.

This isn’t directed at anyone specifically. I put out there already I don’t have a problem with abortion before viability. I am interested to hear anyones views on why they do have a problem with that. I am not going to argue my viewpoint. Looking to hear anyones opposing but peaceful reasons.

And if the opposing party had done the same to get their picks on SCOTUS, treason cries would be everywhere. In any case I don’t know why I posted as this was only going to lead to an argument. I can only vote as I see fit as everyone else who disagrees with me can.

I believe an abortion is acceptable up until viability. After that I have no problem with restrictions. This is like arguing trinity or no trinity, god or no god. Everyone has their mind made up. This is not a decision rules by the popular opinion of the people. It was done using tricks to get certain people into SCOTUS. There are flip sides to every coin and one day the will of the majority will prevail.

Different interpretations then on if it is murder or not. Ultimately just more imposing one’s own view on others.

Why do people who believe abortion is wrong want to impose that on other people? If you don’t believe in them, don’t get one. None of them were losing sleep over abortions happening. None of them had a moment in their life impacted by an abortion happening. The whole argument that is being championed that it leaves it up to the individual states is hogwash. The people saying this KNOW and HOPE it is the first step to getting it banned in every state.

“This generation will by no means pass away.”
by Fisherman infor argument sake let’s assume that this verse should apply to 1914. what are your thoughts on generation?.

I don't believe that this generations applies to 1914 at all. I once did of course like many here, but then I decided to learn why we witnesses kept saying how close the end was and it never was. I do anticipate that the Watchtower will change the significance of 1914 some day in the future and make it the "beginning of the pangs of distress". That way the "last days" could be moved again and be a future time.

Are You Concerned About Inflation?
by Simon ini saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.
that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?
they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

@Simon you stated the only solution was a default, war or both. What does a war do for the economic problems we have? Genuine question, I don't understand how that helps.
