  stumbling is a term i never understood.

  let's suppose i robbed a bank and a witness was a witness to my crime.

  would they decide to the same thing?

  When I went to the memorial this year a "brother" got up and walked out. Apparently his attitude was that as I had made my decision to leave then I had no right to be at the Kingdom Hall.

  The next time I am asked to go to a meeting you can be sure I will use this idea of stumbling to my advantage. I will make sure they know I was well and truly "stumbled"!

  In reality as much as it upset me at the time, I just think he is a pathetic self rightous individual and if I did think it was the truth I wouldn't let him or anybody eles stand in my way. So I agree that it is a ridiculas notion!

  after i stopped going to meetings about a year ago this place was a real life saver.

  i would come here every day just to know i was not alone and preserve a small amount of sanity.

  in that time i got to know a number of you and i realy don?t know how i would have got though this time with out you!

  I have not been well lately. I have mixed state bipolar disorder and I have only just managed to stay out of hospital. I have not been able to find the motivation to do anything other than the essentials, and then only because of my children. So It feels like an eternaty since I tuned the computer on. It was so reasuring to see the same familiar names and spend a little while reading a few posts. I just wanted to say ?hello? again and apologize to those who I have not been in touch with.

  I still feel very foggy and unreal but I think I am over the worse and hope to be able to start living again soon. Thanks again every one for your support.

  Reminds me of a time years ago when a friend of mine was hopeless at replying to my letters. (before we used e-mail!) I sent her an envelope and wrote on the back "when you open this you will know how I feel" There was no letter inside! she got the message and I got a letter a few days latter.

  The witnesses have no problem in the belief of the existence of dinosaurs. They believe they were used by Jehovah to help prepare the earth for man.

  They do not however believe in evolution at all.

  k, so i'm not really lookin for it so settle down please everyone!.

  but really, am i the only one that would be tripping on watchtowers and awakes and when it came to sunday morning and you had to get your shite together tout de suite , there wasn't the right wt to be found anywhere?!?.

  Just about every week I had the same expiriance of trying to find the right w/t! Only I had to find 5 of them for the whole family!

  Now enjoying being able to relax on a sunday morning!

  i'm a new person here and i have a question about a family member.

  hopefully, you can help and i will appreciate any and all answers.

  if a man marries a jw gal and the jw gal cannot get her husband to convert (he has no interest in joining, but supports her beliefs), will the jw gal be "looked down upon" by her kh?

  slight confusion, she could not have gone from door to door while living with a man she was not married to. so i thinking maybe they temperarily seperated? (excuse my spelling!)

  her situation could be much worse. i would think she would get the sympathy vote, and do o.k. especialy as you said he supports her and goes to a few meetings.

  it depends on the individuals in her congregation but i think she will be o.k!

  everything including the skills you individually can offer, could just be up for auction to the highest bidder.

  why not sell your individual skills on ebay, friggin big market there!.

  in great britain haha, we have learn't that all wisdom so called had an auction value and indeed is still the case.
