  can anyone tell me how to fly under the radar of the elders?

  i have all my family in the cult and was brought up in it myself.

  although mentally i'm out if i leave i loose all my family and that would break my heart.

  i've somehow got to fly under the radar and not be detected.

  I moved to a Spanish congregation even though did not speak the language...everyone thought i moved to learn the language and to help out.

  You become a visitor in the congregation, few will speak to you,elders will leave you alone, eventually i started missing meeting and elders did not care since you were never involved in the cong. or went out in service. Elders in English congrration lost track or did not care.

  Two months later i stopped all together, it was a beautiful fade.

  Eventually the family will find out about you and you will get the pressure. Don't know the way out when you have family in the organization.

  I wonder down deep if most witnesses still believe in trumpet crap in Revelation applied to them.

  i remember many years ago we would talk about those who leave the org.

  something bad will happen to them.

  because god was mad at them for turning away from the wt.

  What do you expects the witness to say? Of course they will try to put fear in the hearts of those worshipping the watchtower.

  Life is good outside the congregation and feel sorry for those grudgenly still knocking on doors.

  Maybe they will blow their own trumpet on how JW.ORG is being blessed by "Jehovah" and encourage zombies in the congregation to continue pushing it.

  Mental Disorders among JW's

  hi everyone, im begining to notice patterns of mental issues in the congregations and among the witnesses as a group.

  do you think this is a trend in the entire world or is it exagerated in this organization?.

  Nothing new. Half of the body of elders where i served were on Prozac as were many others in the congregation.

  Don't know the % whether it's higher than the common population but for being the " happiest people on earth"

  don't have much to show for it.

  i have been lurking on this site for many years.

  i rarely post anything, because my english isnt the best and not sure if anyone understands.

  i just recently had a run in with an elder, have not seen him in a few years.

  You can't argue, you have no argument. He believes and you don't.

  Don't say anything against the watchtower because he might be the type to push for DF.

  Often when i'm talking to JW i just tell them i don't believe the bible anymore...that's it...conversation ends and there is no argument.

  Car accident

  i was in a car accident in a fatality.

  without going into detail i wasnt found in the wrong.

  alcohol and poor judgement were involved with the other party.

  The elders are going to remind you to make more meetings and do more preaching so that things like that will not happen to you.

  Meetings, preaching and prayer is the solution to everything according to them.

  Could it be the number of jw under 5 million?

  i was thinking about this last night, in the year book they publish the number or peak and average publishers.

  as we know a publisher could simply be a child getting out in service regularly.

  if two parents baptized have to small children that are publishers then they are counted as four.

  8 million JW's ...not much considering they have been around for 140 years and knocking on doors and preaching that long.

  Hardly any witnesses in China, Russia,India, Middle East.

  So really they they have not much to brag about and it will get worse as old timers will start dyin off at greater numbers.

  not big arguments...but more of a bickering.. you see, over the last year i have stepped down as an ms and we moved halls.

  last november was around the time i woke.. during this time we still have family studies....but only from the bible.

  Of course she blames you...that's what wives do in the "truth" you are the spiritual head and if things are not right or going well the finger is pointed at you and somehow they start feeling they don't have Jehovah's blessing because once again you do not take the truth seriously.

  Don't have the answer for you, i went through the same thing and ended up in divorce after 26 years.

  GB Doesn’t Believe in 1914 Anymore – My reasoning

  i have heard a lot of talk over the last year or so if the gb will eventually ditch 1914 and some have even made the claim that most, if not all of the gb do not believe in 1914. ive given this some thought and in the past i wasnt sure.

  this annual meeting puts 100%, without a doubt in my mind that the gb do not believe in 1914. id even go as far to say that they talked about that date and have a game plan in mind.. here is why i feel this way:.

  there were a lot of changes with the parables at this annual meeting.

  I believe that GB knows most of their teaching are not bible based and they live in a fantasy world and down deep they know they are just another religion with its own interpretation and that "Jehovah God " has nothing to do with them.

  In due time they will eliminate the blood doctrines and maybe even the knocking on doors in order to be accepted...

  Mormons have been doing that for a long time, their prophet continues to get " New Rvelations".
