A quick peek at the most embarrassing facts gleaned from PYRAMIDOLOGY and " Jehovah's Witness"
by Terry inmeasuring the great pyramid of egypt reveals exact prophetic dates.. _______________.
that was the crackpot theory of so-called pyramidologists.. among the men who promoted this silly idea was the founder of the watchtower publishing corporation, pastor c.t.russell.. he did not originate pyramidology, but he copied the work of the astronomer royal of scotland, professor charles piazzi smyth.
as well as another fellow named john taylor (the great pyramid (1859) and built a grand bit of humbug theology.

Did CT Russell use the term "Light" in his ministry?
by FFtruther144 ini mean it in the sense of: "light" = "truth" = "knowledge".
as the wtbts uses it in "we have received 'new light'...".
if anyone knows of one or two specific instances, and maybe where they can be found, i would appreciate it.. blondie?

Frieking Bethel Heavies/COs and their second rings!
by lambsbottom indude, every picture i see of any bethel heavies or gb members (a lot of cos also) have them wearing a second huge gold ring!
this is a clear sign of "hey i'm a bigshot!
" you just dont see that in interviews of celebrities or politicials.

It is said that Fred Franz wore a Masonic Ring.
I wonder if any of these rings are signets of an organization other than the Watchtower?

Can a slingshot hit harder than a handgun? (Self-defense research oddities)
by Terry inas you've probably guessed, i'm interested in almost everything.. whether that is good or bad, i dunno.. but, recently i started researching ways of defending myself against bad actors.
(no, not keanu reeves.).
even though i live in texas--i just have no comfort at all about the conceal carry handgun scenario for myself.. i've explored alternate scenarios.. i purchased a rather wicked folding pocket knife, but--i kept thinking to myself how i didn't really want to bleed somebody.

6. Unethical use of confession
a. Information about sins used to disrupt and/or dissolve identity boundaries
b. Withholding forgiveness or absolution
c. Manipulation of memory, possible false memoriesThought Control
1. Require members to internalize the group’s doctrine as truth
a. Adopting the group's ‘map of reality’ as reality
b. Instill black and white thinking
c. Decide between good vs. evil
d. Organize people into us vs. them (insiders vs. outsiders)
2.Change person’s name and identity
3. Use of loaded language and clichés which constrict knowledge, stop critical thoughts and reduce complexities into platitudinous buzz words
4. Encourage only ‘good and proper’ thoughts
5. Hypnotic techniques are used to alter mental states, undermine critical thinking and even to age regress the member

b. Terrible consequences if you leave: hell, demon possession, incurable diseases, accidents, suicide, insanity, 10,000 reincarnations, etc.
c. Shunning of those who leave; fear of being rejected by friends, peers, and family
d. Never a legitimate reason to leave; those who leave are weak, undisciplined, unspiritual, worldly, brainwashed by family or counselor, or seduced by money, sex, or rock and roll

Scientists Warn of Rising Oceans as Antarctic Ice Melts
by bohm inthe collapse of large parts of the ice sheet in west antarctica appears to have begun and is almost certainly unstoppable, with global warming accelerating the pace of the disintegration, two groups of scientists reported monday.. the finding, which had been feared by some scientists for decades, means that a rise in global sea level of at least 10 feet may now be inevitable.
the rise may continue to be relatively slow for at least the next century or so, the scientists said, but sometime after that it will probably speed up so sharply as to become a crisis.. this is really happening, said thomas p. wagner, who runs nasas programs on polar ice and helped oversee some of the research.
theres nothing to stop it now.

I don't believe that a "vast majority" of scientists believe in global warming.
If you look at the proponents of this unproven and unprovable, collapsing theory, most of them are funded by organizations that would benefit from implementation of the "corrective measures" needed to "combat" it. You have to know who it is that is peddling these "facts".
I could go on and on, but here are just a few articles & videos.

Im sorry, but it is just a hoax with a sinister purpose.
There are so many real environmental threats: dangerous nuclear energy, GMO crops, Geoengineering (chem trails), exploding cancer rates...
Why doesn't any mainstream media focus on these issues?

I think you are VERY ideological on this point and have no intention of ever viewing the mountains of evidence against man made global warming.
I understand why you feel the way you do, because I too once believed all of these talking heads and their fudged data, but I'm sorry to say that it just isn't true, no matter how much this has become your new religion.
