  Supplement to Justice #15 - Parking Lot

  hellow everyone: there were a number of responses to justice #15 about the parking lot dfing.

  i decided to make a new post to deal with these related but different issues.. first, the purpose of the post was not so much about rushing to judgment, but to show that the process is flawed, and the reflective question at the end shows that i was disturbed as to why we allowed these events to develop the way we do, especially over matters that really are not all that serious.. second, your follow-up comments also bring out some good additional concerns.

  i will address those that seem to be of greatest concern.

  JUSTICE #6 - Stumbling the Least of These

  JUSTICE #13 - Praying to the Devil!

  a little history: prior to 1971, the jw congregation government was organized around the congregation servant (cs).

  he was considered the sole elder, having attained spiritual maturity, and qualified to serve.

  our cs was considered a highly respected elder in the region.

  up to now i have given just three experiences about child molestation that happened among jws.

  the issues here have been about the way these crimes are handled, and the flaws in the watch tower system of justice.

  deceptive jw elders case#5 .

  this case goes back many years, and illustrates how jw elders can and do go create appearances for their own benefit.

  here is a case where both the elders and the society men acted in the same way, but for different reasons.. but when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: ... matt 6:3-4. we have all heard or used the expression, their (managements) right hand does not dont know what its left hand is doing.

  if there is not a clear law - invent one!

  i personally knew a sister who was very difficult to deal with.

  she had many emotional hang-ups, which i believe were left over from her failed marriage to an abusive and alcoholic husband.

  The issues he raised are still relevant.

  Resurrecting. ..

  Recent former or active elders: has there been any updating of the procedures Amazing detailed? Or are the elders following the same basic procedures 13 years later?

  Ps if anyone can put links to his justice series on a thread that would be great. I think this is an important series to revisit.

  When we are on the inside, we do not realize how controlled we are. We are so used to the idea that we must follow instructions without question. We also have a persecution complex.

  So any questioning can feed into that.

  It is interesting hearing the perspective of an "out sider"

  Thanks DCMshirley, I was wondering about the right to video in public. I really liked the way the guy made the point about no contact and assault charges.

  He knew his rights and used them against the attendants.

  It is very hard to make someone go somewhere if you can't touch them in any way.

  All the guy had to do is stop walking. Those brothers had no idea how to handle someone who was not "meek and sheep like".
