Theocratic Warfare Strategy
by outbutnotdown ini am not sure how many people will remember me because i have not posted in a couple of years, but 'hi' all.
i have been out of the jw religion since about 1992, so i have forgotten some teachings, etc.
nevertheless, i am hoping to obtain quotes from watchtower books or magazines that talk specifically about their theocratic warfare strategy.

Funny (and sometimes annoying) things your pets do.
by outbutnotdown ini have two cats.
brother and sister.
good cats and i love 'em, but the male cat is really clingy.. it's usually no problem, but every time i answer the phone, the male cat immediately jumps on my lap, demanding attention.. it makes it really challenging when i am at the computer, attempting to search files, etc.

Mouthy... or others who may have advice for this Canadian
by outbutnotdown ini haven't been on jwd much lately, but i was here regularly a couple of years ago, but i am asking for some kind of help.. here's my situation, in short... (for now):.
i'm an ex-jw, shunned by my family (my sisters refused to say a word to me at our dad's funeral, for example *rolls eyes*).. before last summer, i had great success through the courts at preventing my kids from being raised as jws and i was given a great deal of access to my kids as well.. we had a family court trial last summer and unfortunately the judge reversed many of the great steps that the other judges had previously made.
needless to say, my ex's mother lied through her teeth at the trial (theocratic warfare strategy).... the only sad part was that this judge believed her, where the others didn't.. some of the allegations have included that i sexually assaulted my oldest daughter (i have four kids... two boys (11, 8), and two girls (7, 5).

the judge mentioned that what i was accusing my ex-wife of was "parental alienation".

wife given permission new union with lover without husband's permission
by outbutnotdown inwow!!!.
i've never heard of that specifically.
although when i was df'd and my wife was reinstated, there was a "brother" who kept asking her out on a date and the elders refused to even speak to him about it.. i know it may be upsetting you, but if you want my advice....

The poster who you find the FUNNIEST here, and why?
by outbutnotdown inof course, different people enjoy different types of humour, so there will be a wide variety of responses, but if you could mention why you find that person funny, personally, it would be appreciated.. i would have to say that i have to pick two people.
i enjoy having humour displayed in a tasteful manner, but with wit.
a life-lesson taught with a laugh is about as good as it gets, imo, even if i am not capable of accomplishing that very well myself.

The "BRAG AS MUCH AS YOU WANT ABOUT YOUR KIDS" thread
by outbutnotdown inon my "backyard rink" thread some of us were bragging about our kids.
confusedjw and scootergirl shared their kids' hockey and skating successes.. i thought it would be cool to have a thread where parents (and other relatives) could post their kids' achievements as they come along.. births, first steps, first words, sports/academic achievements, etc.
i'll start:.

What goes around, comes around ...... both ways????
by outbutnotdown inwhen most people use that expression: "what goes around, comes around", it seems to be used more in a negative way.
for example, you find out bob just ripped off something small from work.
you and your co-worker don't necessarily want to rat on him so you use the famous "what goes around comes around" phrase.. but how often do we say it the other way around?
