  There was a "Questions From Readers" in the late 40's or early 50's, something about whether JWs are to be considered a "religion".
  

  Is it these two Questions from Readers from 1951?
  

  "In the past we regarded 'religion' as anything that was against God’s will. Now many brothers are using the expressions 'true religion' and 'false religion' to make a distinction. Is this advisable?"

  In other words, when J.W.'s are asked what their religion is, they should reply "Christian," not J.W.

  Yes, on a form like a census or such like that asks for 'Religion', a JW would simply say 'Christian'. Same as a Catholic, Episcopalian or Baptist etc would put.

  I would say that the next-step down descriptively for a JW would be? to say non-trinitarian Christian?

  How about non-trinitarian low-church Christian?
  

  That could be expanded to evangelical non-trinitarian low-church Christian?

  Or even evangelical fundamental non-trinitarian low-church Christian?

  weird? 2gb for the bible? ha! sounds from the description they're counting downloading the bible in ALL the languages as they're about 5 to 20mb each - does anyone do that IRL? hmmm yeah, maybe....
  

  Besides I suspect people are more concerned with good ol' battery life - ie how battery the app takes to run when being used.

  The con is completed - comments from the US branch's LDC chief

  recently attended a special assembly day.. guest speaker was thomas chicky, a member of the us branch committee and the head of the us ldc (which has replaced the rbcs).. the last talk of the day is scheduled for an hour.

  it was the usual boring mumbo-jumbo.

  he appeared to have blasted through his hour-long outline in just about 45 minutes, so he "treated" us to informal comments on recent developments.. he commented on the new wt complex in fishkill ny.. then he dropped the bomb (well, to anyone with ears and at least 2 functioning synapses).. the following is not a word for quote, but presents the gist of his comments:.

  I remember hearing at the time that some of the building materials had been sourced directly from the manufacturer in china rather than been brought locally primarily because of the cost. Anybody else know of this happening.

  When will the construction at Warwick finish?

  i'd like to as the question, when will construction at warwick finish?

  will it be before the 2017 agm?i'm asking because, if the construction is basically finished by then, the gb could be free to release more 'new light'.its hardly likely that they would announce big changes that might effect the willingness of their laborers to continue working for free.

  so i'm sort of hoping, all the big stuff will be done by then.

  I'd like to as the question, when will construction at Warwick finish? Will it be before the 2017 AGM?

  I think it was announced at the the 2016 AGM that next year's AGM, in October 2017, will include the dedication of Warwick? so I kinda guess it'll all be completed by then?..... or will it?.....

  Public tours of Warwick are starting on Monday 3 April 2017.
