i feel as if my life is coming towards some sort of apocalypse.... its been a long culmination of events, as apocalypses are...9 years in the works.... but somehow i feel good about coming to this point in my life.
Dang, I don't envy you. I wish I had some words of advice, but I don't really as I have never been a JW. I desperately want to get my Mom out though. One thing is for sure- you can't go on living a lie. Try to help your girlfriend if you can, but don't stay for her sake because it will only end up hurting you both in the end. I've read enough stories here to know that much. Thanks for sharing with us, I will keep you in my prayers.

i know that my grandmother died before her time because she refused a transfusion that could have saved her life long enough to see her grandson get married.
i know there was nothing i could have told my cousin back in high school when he said he didn?t want to disobey god by taking blood to fight his leukemia but even more importantly didn?t want to die.
i know i have a cousin whose wife loves him but unlike most couples doesn?t expect to spend forever with her husband because he?s the only one that will be going to heaven.

i'm starting this because i was chatting with someone this morning about pictures of ourselves as kids.
i realized i didn't have any of myself so i got my mother to email me a few.
i promised i'd start a thread about it and if that person doesn't post the pic they sent me this morning, i will.

do you try to get any friends, relatives or witnesses in general, "out"?
Almost anyone I've ever asked for advice on how to get JWs out has said you have to use their own publications and show them how they contradict themselves and the Bible. But as Mulan said, if they don't want the information it is pointless. I've learned that the hard way so far.

We went there last year and it was beautiful! Where are you staying? Check out Le Cliff restaurant. It is expensive, but the view is breathtaking. You're going to have a great time!

nowhere in the bible is it stated to celebrate your wedding anniversary, yet j.w.
baby showers are acceptable, but not birthdays.. correct me if i am incorrect, but doesn't the bible say to "honor the father and mother of your youth", yet mothers day and fathers day are unacceptable to celebrate.

we just returned from visiting mouthy- she is not feeling well -her back is "out "since friday, and she is in so much pain she can hardly walk.
she is still a trooper,doesn`t complain much but it is obvious it is not easy for her.. she is not able to post much right now because she needs to lie down and rest,but she sends all of you lots of hugs and kisses.with her permission i am writting this, so if someone would like to send her some get well thoughts it would be much appreciated.. thank you all.. get well soon dear grace , we love you very much.
