Mmmmm...a Cohiba Siglo with a Jameson on the rocks..H. Upmann too, or Sosa for a domestic cigar. I just had some Don Mig's from the Honduras that my boyfriends best friend brought back with him. Oh, and Partagas ain't to shabby neither! Ok, so I like cigars

sorry if i'm boring you once more, but it seemed like a good way to finish off the year.... so i'm sitting here listening to "wilderness of mirrors" by fish, wracking my brains to recount the events of the last two weeks.. it started by knocking off early to catch a flight to glasgow, on the 17th.

i normally catch a boat and drive down, but i managed to get a flight that was cheaper, so i went for the comfort instead.

mistake number one was forgetting to print off a map for the carhire place, though.

Good to see you made it home safely, Ross!!! Thanks for the nice comments about Guy, he had an absolute blast meeting all of you!!! I'm so proud to be marrying him!!! It sounds like you had a great time out here, we hope you can make it out again sometime. Or, maybe one day we'll have enough saved up to come out to your neck of the woods!

It feels like my first Christmas!

many of you have read my posts this past year and know i've felt somehow disapointed in the holidays.

the idea of the magical euphoroic feeling i expected always seemed to be missing.

the last thread i wrote on holidays, many of you gave me a lot of food for thought regarding the holidays becoming more real when i start creating my own traditions, so they become special to me.

Hey Sassers!!! I am so happy for you!! (((((hugs)))) Even though I have a sister who is "on the fence", she had Christmas with my neices, and it gave me so much joy to send them presents!!! Christmas isn't about Christ or Santa or whatever, it's about family, and I am so glad you got to spend it with them!!! *muah*

it's amazing how as witnesses we used to just rip on other religions and organizations, not the least of which was the catholic church.

i was reading another article listing donations from various organizations and companies, and it looks like we're going to have a record outpouring here.

Thos damned evil Catholics, helping people and such!! Why, I'm just outraged!! Yeah, I never got that either, SNG, when they would talk about how bad the Catholics were, but they never bothered to pick up any tabs for the needy.

Christmas Family Reunion Tarnished by the Borg

my mother died from breast cancer less than a year after my high school graduation.

right before her illness she had finally left my abusive step-father and was close to seeing the light about the borg.

then she got sick and the elders told her she needed to return to her husband or be out of jah's favor.

Oh KG, that brought tears to my eyes!!! i am so happy you got to see your little sister! My sister Xandria (on this board) and I haven't seen each other in 10 years also, though we hooked up again online about a year ago. For years I was told that she was a liar, to not believe a word she said, and that she just wanted to hurt me. I believed that for a long time. Now, we've worked through it all, and have a great relationship. She will be coming to my wedding in May!!!! I am so happy for you!
