To everyone
by elamona insince i started lurking here early last year and posting since mid year i have come to appreciate everyone here for their sense of humor, pathos,and their depth of feeling pro and con various postings.
i look forward to coming here every day and reading even if i don't post.
some times i have to wipe the tears away either from deep sorrow from some of the things i read or from laughing so hard i can hardly make it to the bathroom in time.

MY SHORT BACKGROUND
by moses inwell i must say that i am glad that i found this site it is amazing all the things that i found that i have in common,it seems that the same problems and feelings are the same all over.
i can remember growing up as a jw although i never got baptized all the hypocrisy in the congregation especially amongst the elders children they were worse than the wordly children at school,we tried hard to stick to the truth my mom was a single mom and she did her best to raise us in the truth my mom is still in but as never given me any pressures i will attend an occasional meeting but that is about it, it seemed that everybody was always waiting for you to stumble or do somthing bad so that they could gossip anways this is my story in short, the jws are definetly a tough club to belong to although in the beginning they make everything look so rosy.

Hey Freddy, I know how you feel! After years of feeling alone (especially with the homeless/bedwetting thing) it's amazing to find that so many people have had the same experiences!!! This board gives me so much comfort, I know I'm a different person for having found this place!! Thank goodness my sister showed it to me, it's made all the difference!!! Actually, I'd be interested to find out... is there anyone here who had sex when they were 15 or 16, with a serious, steady bf or gf of the same age, and used protection, and still feels that it was a bad decision and had serious negative consequences?
I first had sex at 15, and began a relationship with my future husband at 16. We used protection, etc., and I honestly can't say that I regretted it. 15 does sound young, now that I'm a little bit older, but I honestly can't say if something is "right" or "wrong" for somebody else. I was a very mature teenager, and I was living on my own at that age. It may be a very bad thing for someone else at that age, but it was fine for me. We later did divorce, when we grew up, and grew apart. I think that part of it is far more damaging than the sex itself. Missy and Smyler, the decision is ultimately yours to make, you know the physical consequences, but don't forget to take into account the emotional consequences. I am not saying these are inherently going to be negative, either, just remember that you will grow and change with time. I hope all turns out well for the both of you. ((Missy and Smyler))

i took euphemism's advice and others to protect my identity.
about a week ago it was brought to administrations attention that there may be apostates lurking on our board, as a precautionary measure we deleted 107 members who had never posted since they joined.

I might be going back to the evil empire....

" i got a couple emails this week asking if i was looking, and, well, i wasn't until i heard some of the details.
i just had an hour-long phone interview that went very well, and i'll be going in for an in-person interview on tuesday.
