  I'm curious about the Publisher Record Card.

  i was once told that a publisher had the right to examine their own record card.. what would happen if a publisher examined it and threw it out?.

  Accuracy of the Revised NWT

  i was speaking with a jw yesterday.

  i'd previously mentioned the removal of the brackets around 'other' in colossians 1 making the mistranslation complete.

  during our chat he said that the previous edition of the nwt was the more correct one, that the revised version was simply more readable and that it shouldn't be considered the best translation.

  As for the insertations of the name 'Jehovah' into the NT I would argue against it but ...

  The Scriptures 1998

  An Americain Translaton

  The Messianic Israel Standerd Bible

  and several others do the same. (All these translations are Messianic Jewish.

  The 1961 version of the NWT screwed up majorly what do you expect from the RNWT?

  Check out Job ^:6 for instance and tell me if you can take that seriously? (The word mellows would be more appropriate)

  Revelation 5 has a biased mistranslation as does John 8:58.

  Revelation 8:23 has a known mistranslation from Westcott and Hort. (Unless you believe in squaking eagles)

  Jeremiah inserted the word testicle where there is very sparse need for it.

  All the OT has the expression 'dungy idols' where there is very sparse translation need.

  The expression 'the true God' has NO textual basies and is always Elohim.- God

  Colossians 1:14-16 has major insertations.

  I fail to see why the 1961 version removed 'son of gos' from mark 1:1 then reinserted it in 2013. Do these guys even compare manuscripts and see the following verse Mark 1:2 contains a lie in the text they used?

  Genesis 1:2 is a joke at best! How they can possibly render psirit as 'active force' is a laugh. 'Wind' would be accurate.

  Zechariah 12, Luke 2, Acts 8, Isaiah 14, Job 38 all contain outright lies in the translation.

  Genesis 34:7 i beleive is also mistranslated as saying 'against Israel' and not 'in Israel' as the text says. This is a lie to hide the late authorship.

  The boosk of Lamentaions, Pslams and Haggai look like someone copied from the JPS. (Someone should sue)

  I'm an atheist and I can spot these errors... that's sad.

  while many may complain and see the hypocrisy within the kh's, maybe even with the gb, how does one bring up doctrine issues?

  i surely can not tell my husband to "go look what jwfacts.com says".

  On this website I contantly see people 'picking off the top' as in fighting doctrine of Christianity... whule this may work it is far better to topple the bottom. But it can hurt emotionally... take this one slow.

  The sad part is while 2 million at best mihgt follow to WTBS toanywhere... that's 2 millions deceived persos because WE as reasonable people could see that creation etc was false... Jeblooper was false... these guys were mosre crazy then most of Christianoty and we did nothing...

  This is a possible senario theough not likely... however... there is a small chance..

  today i visited another hall because my wife wanted to see some friend in this hall.. all was fine.

  it was a 1pm meetting which was nice.... but.. it was co visit... ggrr.. that means boths talks i need to hear again in 2 weeks... the first one was unimpressive.... the second was sick!.

  he said that we needed to imagine the new world... he said he wanted 11 children in the new world.... wait a minute...1 billion years + and only 11 children.. excuse me..coward!

  Today I visited another hall because my wife wanted to see some friend in this hall.. all was fine. it was a 1pm meetting which was nice...

  But.. It was CO visit... ggrr.. that means boths talks I need to hear again in 2 weeks... the first one was unimpressive...

  The second was sick!

  He said that we needed to imagine the new world... He said he wanted 11 children in the new world...

  He frowned often when my 4 months old son gooed and gaahed in the hall.

  Later he recommened us to thnk about making room for ressurected ones in our new world homes...

  Ok I have axiety disordor and though I know this is all a fake propoganda I started wringing my hand like craz I was angry VERY ANGRY!This guy was a LIAR and he KNEW it!

  As a last momoent puch he said the internet age of the society we have entered into is so the society can distibute stuff in the tribulation.

  Many here have chosen southern Italy or France.

  I would likely have 3 homes. One in southern France or Italy, Another here in British Columbia Canada and another in the Philippines... I might accomplish the later two before I die so a place in Corsica or Sicily would be the best bet for a home I would never have...

  just finished reading "who wrote the bible" ( richard e friedman) ?

  made for a fascinating read.

  the machinations of the various factions of levites and their efforts at centralizing the jewish religion has been adroitly duplicated by the gb.

  I have very mixed feeling on this book. I like Prof. Frredman for his simplistic approach to the texts yet it is that same approach that in the end made me reject alot of his work...Nevertheless he does have one thing very accurate. The Hebrew langauge. I have his book.. "Hidden book in the Bible" for refereance and because it is a superior translation.

  His theories assume that David-Solomon empire existed... Archeology says No so his theories die.. but as for the texts divisions of the Torah and the langauge he is a great schoolar.
