Every single referance in the bible to dogs is bad!
Exodus is funny... in it Moses uses an expression that is rendered as: "Not a dog shall move his tongue".... The Jews hated dogs it seemed.
i always wonders, and now i know.
thank you pope francis.. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/12/world/europe/dogs-in-heaven-pope-leaves-pearly-gate-open-.html?action=click&contentcollection=sunday%20book%20review&module=mostemailed&version=fullion=marginalia&src=me&pgtype=article.
does this include the dogs that end up on the dinner table in some cultures?

we in the psychology/sociology field have a saying "when people protest too loud usually they are overcompensating".
i did not understand that when i first started studying psychology but now i understand it completely and it is so true.
when i hear someone constantly bashing something or someone such as gay bashing or ethnic bashing or religion bashing sometimes i wonder what are they hiding.
I think 90% of what is in the bible is flawed. 10% (Mostly in 2 Kings) might be right... but however it is good for two things: (possibly a third)
1. Historically it tells us what the writer (thus their culture) was thinking at the time and place they wrote it...
2. Western Culture and religion is based on it so it is wise to have knowledge of the work.
The possible third is that reading the bible makes one an atheist
the new watchtower, 15th february 2015, p6 6, say :.
the bible writer jude recorded an example from jesus prehuman existence.
(read jude 9.
The text about Solomon I think is the Testament of Solomon and I think he has a ring to control demons and demons build the temple for him LOL

This verse as stated is from the Assuption of Moses most likely. However the words Michael uses in the story are from Zechariah 3. <<<Read it
It's a very wierd story and Jude is full of traditions and odd stories.

in seeking truth, and removing untruth, often more is removed then ever initially imagined possible.. christianity, claims that jesus was & is the messiah.
this claim is primarily based on the writings of the greek scriptures.. throughout history, god has given signs to people, in order for them to believe.
never has he become upset with an individual asking for a sign.. some individuals such as moses asked for multiple signs.
Since Jesus as a cosmic 'god' was preached by Philo and other in the first century and Josephus records the Ebionites as being excentric why are YOU following after myths?
The second coming came about after the destruction of the temple in 70CE
There never was a historical Jesus... i used to think so.. but based on Philo and Josephus I say no... ... no one knew of a Jesus.
i'm atheist and not ashamed of it.
however, it is so politically incorrect, especially where i live.
i have a legitimate concern that being out of the closet too much will hurt my career or neighborly relations--i know for a fact it probably would.. i'm really cautious about who i tell.. how about you?
No... because of family/friends I am stuck in for now. However many people know i'm skeptical and some have guessed I'm an athiest ... but have no proof.
In Canada, epecially British Columbia Secularism is normal ... though most believe in God. Athiests are not persecuted here though.
