Imagine the Congitive Dissonance the sheeple are experiencing. correct me if i am wrong...but didn't the washtowel tell sheeple not have decales on cars the show support for bands or athletes or not to wear shirts with logos because it was idol worship. could anyone find a wt or awake that state this?

I know the washtowel is against tattoos, but if some one got a tatoo of the blue org thing. would they then say it was ok to have a tattoo?

Need advice on a comeback to my wife: when she is in cult mode she says faith without works is dead.

so i have gotten into arguements with my wife in the past about this cult.

now a days after reading steve hassan books...i just try and avoid anything jdub with her.

try to keep her in authentic mode..(not sure she really has one).

Thanks everyone for the comments...i do agree, that the faith without works is one of the manipulative things the dubs use to control the sheeple.

it's such a sad thing to see when you wake up and learn TTATT. very frustrating.

anyways...when we have gotten in fight she will come up with the words. "faith without works is dead" i know where the phrase comes from.

she uses this to pertain to going out in circus and going to meetings. " i would like my response to be...well shat about all the christians who help the poor and feed the hungry. arn't they doing fine works:

what scriptures could i use to back this up about chritians helping the poor and others less fortunate.

Did Guy Pierce Disapprove of All These Changes?

i have been wondering lately if guy pierce did not approve of all these changes like jw broadcasting, the new jw kingdom halls and the direction that they are currently moving in.

i know that some changes happened while he was alive but a lot of these changes seemed to be pushed right after his death..

for example, jw broadcasting almost sounds like it was rushed out within 2 months.

"You are still married, and still happy ?"

i met an aging, well, late sixties, pioneer sister a few days back, from a congregation four removes away, and a different circuit to my old congo.

i have known her since i was a kid.. i wasn't quite sure at first if she knew our "status" as we exchanged pleasantries, but it soon became clear she knew exactly our situation, that we walked away a few years ago.. she asked me about my views on life now, and listened respectfully, and said she appreciated my view, but a couple of questions that she threw at me, as in the thread title, showed that she was surprised that mrs phizzy and i had not gone off the rails after we left.. the mind control goes so very deep does it not ?

she was surprised that our marriage hadn't failed, and that we were now happy.. i wonder if she will ever make the connection that the jw org has lied to her about those of us who leave ?.

i wish i could say or predict the same..my wife has already told me she will choose the Borg over me. it's only a matter of time before my situation comes to a head. she will be praised for her dedication, while the washtowel destroys another family.

i have already started councelling for this enivetible crash course. it's suck seeing the llights come down the tracks and you just cant jump off.

i truely hate this cult.
