boy did i get a laugh!
i just read a few paragrphs from an older publication from the society.
it's called "the meek shall inherit the earth" written in 1945....pages 24-27. after armageddon....dubs will be assigned where they will live.....they can't choose their spot.
I tell what gonna happen:
Jesus is gonna tell every one where they are suppose to live in the new system and in the process. Jehovah feelings get hurt because his "only begotten" didn't carry out his orders perfectly,,, because,, jesus started feeling a little "too secure" in his father and son relationship and went a little "too far" and ignored jehovah,,, and now jehovah gets all bent out of shape and whipes out all life on earth just to teach his son a lesson in obediance.
ok putting religious reasoning aside what is a rational reason why humans are viewed worth more than higher animals?
why is a human worth more than lets say a chimp, a pig or a cow?.
neurophysiological studies show that animals suffer probably just as much as humans....but similar to little children they cannot understand the pain and express it as human adults can.
Part of evolution,,,we live off of life,,and,,life lives off us,, ,we tend to favor our species for companionship and are well aquainted with its intelligence which we attach much importance. We see animals as less important according to intelligence,, not just according to size, and what not.
It is all concepts and concepts are what we(society) live by,,we judge things by different concepts,, than other animals,, and we consider "our concepts" superior,,therefore we are,,, at least according to "our concepts" which we call "normal".

do you think that god enjoys killing people?
it sure sounds like it to me; jw doctrine more or less scared me into thinking that god is going to kill all persons whom he/she thinks is not doing his will.
my question is, how can god kill someone for not being "christian", or following the bible out of sheer ignorance?

ok funny question....i have a friend who used to get to the meeting drunk as a skunk sometimes and he'd play it off nicely.
i do know of a couple of times he came stoned too.

I went to a meeting the "day after" tripping on home grown potent magic mushrooms,, I took 3.5 grams of freskly dried shrooms and six caps of crushed serian rue,,which should and did cause ego death that lasted about 4 hours or more. The next day I went to the service meeting and got arrested for not leaving the property when told to by the elders.
I wouldn't do shrooms more than once every 3 or 2 years,, it leaves you very different,,for a long time,,I was crying for things as insignificant as dead trees,. I think it helped me,, but it caused my head to spin terribly as sort of a flash back,, which made me so I couldn't move very fast because they would cause my head to start spinning. It eventually stopped after a few weeks.

I noticed that too,,the room rates were a little high.
I think it wise after falling victim to the WT claims to speak for god,, that we challenge anyone claim to speak for god,,,if god's feeling get hurt well then he ain't much of a god.
My motto from experience:
If God wants to tell me something, let him tell it to me personally,, no,, middle men,,too many things go wrong when you take someone's word for god's word.
