One of my main problems with the WT: A very irresponsible organization

one of my main problems with the watch tower and, more specifically, with the governing body is the level of irresponsibility seen when lives of people are involved and their unapologetical attitude when people suffer due to their absurd policies.. how many people were imprisoned or killed for refusing to perform civil service in exchange for military service?.

we do not know, but it does not matter, because the society does not even apologize for the harm their blinking light caused.. how many people died or contracted illnesses due to the prohibition of vaccines?.

we might never know, but an apology is not on the menu.. how many people died for refusing (or disfellowshipped for accepting) fractions of blood when it was against the rules?.

The 250,000 is bogus as far as I'm concerned but 1,000 or a small multiplication(2.3 0r maybe 4) of that number seems more likely. No need to inflate the figure to 250,000 which puts it in the realm of fairy tales, 1,000 is pretty horrendous enough!

Well they are just like the God that they worship. Jehovah on many occasions has order the death/genocide of many innocent people including babies, leave no survivers has been the policy of groups of people Jehovah don't like for whatever reason.

In fact the Governing Body have been telling JWs repeatedly that soon Jehovah will put every one to death who is not an active Watchtower Corporation member and they are in complete harmony with it even defending Jehovah's right to put to death who ever he wants come armageddon. The GB have a very irresponcible attitude towards anyone that threatens the Corporation be it children, babies or adults. Protect Jehovah's earthly organization/Watchtower Corporation at all cost, through deceit, and disfellowshipping.

Hey how about a Kingdom Hall for sale sign with the caption about the how the proceeds from the sale will go to the '100's of millions of dollar$ needed to pay off Child Molestation lawsuits around the world and keep the Governing Body in luxury while they drive Jehovah's Chariot into a stonewall of bankruptcy with their insane pedofile reporting policies.

That was cool, but I don't think this would accomplish very much perhaps if they did 10 or more kingdom Halls and in the same general location and with in a few weeks, it might cause a stir, but just one KH seems very pointless as far as out come.

It might work some good if it gets people to know about all the child molestation cases that the GB have on their plate and you stay away from biblical doctrine. The message has to be very short and sweet about all the lawsuits and easily verifiable.

this was inspired by terry's thread.... it is something that raises many questions about the jw belief system.. .

for one thing - the bible certainly explains all the details of the christ birth.

it certainly does not tell people to avoid celebrating it with feasts, customs, etc.

The Corporation Jehovah is so jealous about having any of his worship go to any one but him and the corporation/Jehovah's organization that he even has his faithful and discreet slave ban birthdays and holidays for fear that it might take something away from his exclusive devotion. What a paranoid freak the corporation Jehovah is. He needs to be worshiped or he will fade away.

i don't smoke anything but i know many that do--- some frequently, most infrequently.. personally, i don't see much difference between drinking alcohol and pot use.. should pot be legalized?.

Hitler's violent father and son worshipping mother both had their effects on his personality but it wasn't till he went to Vienna and met the socialist party that he became antisemetic as he had jewish friends before that time. I guess his father's violent nature had a very powerful effect Hilter's propensity to use violence to get what you want. Anyway he is just a clinical example of parental violence and the outcome. Violence of rulers can be trace to parental influence if they are raised in an atmosphere of nonviolence at home it is less likely they will be violent it is really that simple I think.
