A lot of good sights exposing things out there but I would personaly rank this one in the top three. This channel needs to be to be backed up just in case it gets taken down like dallywally's. He encourages downloading his videos.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HALL SCANDAL
by The Searcher intowards the end of last year, the witnesses in scotland had their own assembly hall opened in the town of livingston, near edinburgh the capital.. this was achieved no doubt by blood, sweat, and tears by many over a very long period - as well as by donations of witnesses from all over scotland and its islands, not forgetting the levy per publisher imposed on all the congregations in the guise of "donations"!.
was the org grateful for the sacrifices which were made to bring a great "shout of praise" to whoever?
nope!

DECEPTIVE JW ELDERS - CASE#2
by Amazing indeceptive jw elders case#2 .
appointing spiritually qualified men to take the lead and serve as elders and overseers has been a feature of watch tower congregational organization since about 1972. jws were told in talks at conventions, in literature, and finally in the two versions of the organization book that the biblical criteria is used when elders meet to consider some men for appointment as an elder.
jws are also told that these qualified men are already appointed first by holy spirit, and then as the congregation is lead by that spirit to recognize them, the elders meeting is a confirmation of what god has done.

Served as an E for 10 years, 3 of those as PO (which has now been done away with). I only served in one congregation so this is not an over-all view. All recomendations were prayed over and then compared to the scriptual qualifications in Titus and Timothy. Most of the time the BOE was unamious but if one E had reservtions then the recomendation was held off till the next CO visit and the brother with the reservations was assigned to work with the brother in question in what ever area that needed improvement according to the above scriptures.
Any who qualified were then presented and discussed with the CO during the next visit and he usually agreed. The recommendations were signed and sent to the society and usualy returned approved. After the society's appointment letter was recieved we would met with the brother under prayer and asked him if there was any reason he could not accept his appointment. The society didn't however give the new servant his assignments, that was done by the BOE after meeting with him. We usually loaded him up with assignments... lol.
I must say, at the time, I felt the HS was involved (at the congregation level) as long as we prayed and went by the scriptural qualifications. I have been out of the loop for 6 years now and some things have changed, new E book and now no letter sent to the society because the CO decides.
For the most part everything went smoothly. I did however see some nepotisim (spelling?), favortism or mild repression due to personality conflicts but nothing to serious. It was easy to become a MS but much more difficult in making E, in our congregation. I steped asside when I started having doubts about my qualifications, baiscally burnout and pressing finacial issues. Have no desire to try to qualify again and the gap gets wider every day. Most men who want to be E have no idea what they are getting into and looking back I wished I never did. A lot of my time was sacrificed for trivial matters when I should of spent more time with my family.
As far as "deceptive Es" it does happen but I would say it is not the norm. However good Es do what the society tells them, no questions asked, feeling secure in their actions being in line with "Jehovah."

"And it was 30 years ago
and they announced why you were being disfellowshipped
in those days."
Been associated with the org since 1963 a never experianced that... "dfed for conduct un-becoming a Christian" was the most info they ever said and they stoped that because of liability. They did say "disfellowshipped or disassociated" but now that is not even done. Just "No longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses."

80 Year old COBE Layoff Conspiracy
by XBEHERE inwho else thinks something is afoot with this?
is the gb deciding to go back to pre-1971 times with perhaps the cobe as the man in charge and the rest just ministerial servants.
so for this reason they want younger men in those postitions?

Im 57 and remember everything in detail from late 60s forward so I don't think the age limit has anything to do with old light... at 80 I will be lucky to remember my name... probably more about minds not being as sharp on average and the ability to keep up with changes.

Zoo flip flop
by SyntaxError1974 innov 15,1949 watchtower page 349. proper relationship between men and beast.
men have wrongfully gone into the wilds and trapped the wild beasts and removed them from their natural homes, and placed them in prisons, such aszoos, and thus inflicted upon them cruel punishment.
the excuse of men for doing this is that it satisfies the curiosity and fancy of men.

"God never imprisoned wild beasts in zoos , but mercifully protected them through the Flood... "
NO Animals died?... exactly what side of the equation were they looking at?

I just noticed this tactic
by problemaddict inin reading terrys latest post, if made me think of something that exists and many of us have experienced but i have not really put into a logical thoughts process before.
in terrys 4 facts everyone should know about jw's, the second one referrs to the walsh trial where unity is said to be more important than truth, in no uncertain terms.. this made me think about how one would bring up this fact.
my mind wandered to the beginning of my fade, when inevitably, many of us open up our mouths and say too much.

I showed the Atlanta International Convention promo video to a bro I work with. He is convinced it was "hacked by apostates". The middle is good but the apostates added to the front and the end. There is no reasoning with these people. He would only beleive it if the jw.org moniker is on the beginning and end. That is another "mental branding" trend I see. Will be more powerful than the tower logo in the near future.

How I Know The Assembly Parts Are Made Up
by lovelylil inwe had a co looking for a certain experience for an assembly part coming up and the elders in my hall at the time sent him to see me, since i usually had good experiences out in field service.. anyway, after speaking with the co, i was sorry to inform him that i did not have an experience that suited the type he needed.
he told me that was o.k.
because he could use me anyway for another part.

I was given a CA part once which required an experience of someone who started a bible study on the very first visit using a specific tract. The tract had just been released the month before so I knew this was going to be tough. I had been through one CO visit with the CO that had given me the assignment and already didn't trust him for other reasons so I made sure to keep detailed notes of every one I called in the circuit just in case. I am glad I did. At the dress rehearsal in front of a large group of JWs who had parts for both the A and B circuits the CO turned to me and said are you ready to give your part now? I said no because I was unable to find an experience to fit the requirements stated. To cut him off at the pass I handed him my clipboard with 3 pages of notes to prove all the calls I made etc. He looked at it for a couple of minutes flipping through the pages while there was dead silence in the hall. I felt all eyes were on me. He then asked "what about sister so-in-so I had call you with her experience? I said the study was not started on the initial call with the tract as required by your instructions. He said that can be adjusted. I said I will have no part in that because it wouldn't be truthful. You could hear a pin drop. After a few seconds he asked the other brother who had my exact part in the other circuit if those sisters would be willing to give their experience in both circuits and they agreed. So that was how it was worked out. I gave my CA part (my last) with an experience that fit the criteria with by sisters from a different circuit.
