i heard in Liberia 8 JW's died so far. Meetings still continue but they do not shake hands or have any other physical contact and wash their hands at the kingdomhall with chlorine. Also brother and sisters that work at hospitals where ebola patients are treated wont participate in the meetings.

One Day Assembly Costs How Much, WTF?
by NoMoreHustle inthe recent circuit assembly day cost get this... $17,0000 in an assembly hall that they own!
this was announced during the assmbly at the 3/4 mark of days activities.
after he said how much the assembly cost, he then proceeded to say that we have recieved $6,000 in donations up to this point of the day.

the money is not to pay for just one day circuit assembly hall. Every country has operating costs during the whole year for the branch office, for the assembly halls etcetera etcetera. Those yearly costs are divided over the number of publishers and then you get a certain amount per publisher. That amount per publisher is divided into two and is asked for at the two circuit assemblies.

In our Kingdom Hall Library we have everything from between 1920 to 2014. Only the works of Russell are missing but that is because they are not easy to obtain. I have the studies of the scriptures at home and another brother in our congregation does. But no one asked me to bring/donate them to the library of the Kingdom Hall.

Fudging the Numbers: Is the WTBTS in decline?
by Coded Logic init's no secret that the wtbts has a cash flow problem.
over the past three years they have closed 20 of their 116 branches.
they have sold off most of their properties in and around ny (including some kingdom halls), drastically reduced the # of printed pages for the watchtower and awake magazines, reduced the printing of books and other materials, increased the number of single page tract campagnes, installed cc machines at their assembly halls, and are now seizing of controll of property assets from local kingdom halls using renovation projects.

@coded the 7.5 million is the average number of publishers. The peak number is 7.96million
also its not 50/50 baptized/unbaptized (otherwise in every kingdom hall of 100 publishers 50 of them would be unbaptized ones wich is not the case)
Its more like 80/20

@designer stubble your stats are messed up. I visited Bethel Brooklyn and Patterson in July. Between may 2013 and may 2014 there were over 50,000 requests for a bible study. I even made a picture of those JW.ORG stats
During august 2014 the number of people asking for a biblestudy tripled and on some days quadrupled

@Jimmypage they had several copyright strikes.
One of their videos last month about the JW.ORG campaign in wich they copied almost complete videos of other Youtubers, was the limit...
when you have several strikes ,.. you are out. That is how Youtube works.
Mike is claiming that the Wathtower is behind the shutdown but believe me thats not the case. WTBTS does not care about Mike and Kim at all.

Dis-Member your figures are far from the truth. In the month of august the average number of daily visitors was about 1.8 million unique visitors a day. The average number of pageviews per day was between 10 and 20 million a day.
