why didnt God just do this?

for one thing, i cant get past genesis, but no matter.. when god told adam and eve if you eat from the tree youll die.

so why did he not simple let them die and not allow the offspring to?.

you see, if i was a god, and i told two people that, id let them die , .

there was a point in genesis in ch2 vs 15 it says that God took the man and put him in the garden. why?

where was he before? what was he doing? why confine him to a garden? you notice that the rivers were already named,

and at some point, they even mention the gems and minerals that were around. who would know that?

later adam gets a wife. now MEN, tell me that as a man being alone gettin a woman your not going to mount her asap?

so God prevented her from having chldren? that goes against what he purposed.

no , I think she did have children. but they went to the other earth, or to heaven when those two sinned.

why do i think she had children?

becasue when they sinned it was said that her pain in giving birth will INCREASE.

so she had to have has children to have know what pain was right? [why would a perfect creation have pain upon birth? hmmm. ]

then eve being perfect an taught by God , believes in a talking aniimal? how would she know what good and bad was unless she wittnessed it , and wittnessed death. did she know waht death was? was she afraid of it?

no, If anything, it would be simply an angelic creature that was also in the garden, coming and going, then deciding that he is gong to mess with eve and probably took a while to convince her to eat the fruit.

maybe she was blackmailed.

when the angels were preventing them from finsing the tree of life. when they blocked the entrence it says in vs 21 of ch 3 that he must not be allowed to take of teh fruit of the tree of life and live forever!!!

yea, so if they found the tree of life they would live forever?? so they were banished fro mthe garden.

wow then woman are to crave thier husband and he will be dominant over her, well that means

originally men and women were EQUAL??

WOW, what a story indeed. one to make women belive they are beneath men [only in the negative way lol ]

women caused all mankinds problems by being misled,

and that snakes are bad? [although too snakes dont eat dust. worms might. lol]

i dont get it.. who is being spoken about?

first of all wouldnt moses be greater that john the baptist?

and yet im greater than john?

i wonder why there are no records in the bible of what John did ? after all he was supposed to prepare the way for jesus, good enough to even baptise, youd think there would be something in there about what he taught or something, because even the bible says that John had followers even after jesus was baptised and doing his ministry.

oh well, i try not to worry, im doing what i know to be right and Im sure thats all that matters!

i always thought we were all to be either faithful or evil slaves,

its up to us as individuals to treat each other with love and respect, our whole life, walking in the way of truth, so that the 'day that no one knows'

is coming neither the agels nor the son, which is the day of our death, jesus will come for us, and give us our heavenly reward.

or it was just the 12 apostles, so it doesnt matter one bit .

well, justkidding, i always wondered where in the bible it said that adam and ever were perfect.

when he created things he it says it was good. to me, perfect cannot sin. God must have had evil in him to pass that on to his creation. the tree of the knowlege of good and bad? what was bad? did eve know what bad was? hmmm.

to me, a perfect thing cannot produce imperfection.

id suppose our interpretation of perfect is not what was intended by the writters using the word good.

and even if imperfection passed on, those ones still could have seen ther parents die, and made a informed

choice to stay away from that tree.

shortening up the life of a human who would have eaten from the tree to say,

5 years would have been appropriate. you eat from the tree, no matter how old you are, you get 5 yrs age and die.

staying away from a tree is a hell of a lot easier than staying away from sex, lol

[which by the way was ok to do with your sister apparently and even at age 15 which was how old mary was when she had Jesus.]

and yes I do believe its not real, why?

because, I, as a feeling loving human, supposedly created from God, would have NEVER, first of all put a tree in a garden and said dont touch it, or, allowed my 'son' [satan] , to mess with his sister and brother[adam eve], and lie to them, AND THEN

condemed my 'grandchildren' to a life of misery, because their father and mother did not listen.

that would make me better than God. right?

so WHY did he not simple let THEM die and not allow the offspring to?

you see, If I was a God, and i told two people that, Id let them die ,

but id also tell them to warn thier offspring that if they ALSO do it they will die,

giving the offspring the chance to live forever, and only the ones who ate from the tree need die.

the evidence of seeing thier parents AGE AND DIE in front of their very eyes should have been enough motivation dont you think?

this would still accomplish Gods will and not bring an entire earth of mankind into trouble.

Since Elders And Mini Servants Have To Be Exemplary How Does Anyone Ever Qualify?

it seems to me that you must be almost perfect to be a " servant" in the organization today.

no college, no spiritually weak in the family, no disfellowshipped living at home, no tight pants, etc......who can live up to their lofty ideals?.

apparently anyone can, yet no one can. lol.

years ago my husband [not a jw anymore] was given ms title,

believe me, they had no clue what he was doing at home and on the weekends, but I did. and so did my kids.

how about working overtime , and on weekends, drinking and taking off on his motorcycle till dark.

leaving me and the kids to entertain ourselves.

they did not kow us from adam. they did not care to. we were 'trailer trash' anyway,

my husband was in no way qualified, they just felt they had to 'reward' him for getting baptised so they gave him that title

and let him hand out territories. whoop de do. my husband never once offered help for anything. he waited to be asked.

they never asked him to do anything accept cut grass and maybe read at the book study or wt lesson.

not even a number 4 talk was he asked to do.

as soon as our teen daughter got in to trouble, which was only about 6 months later, despite many cries for help prior to the problem,

they told him he cant be ms and that was that.

a year later he never went back.

so the claim that the holy spirit helps elders is a crock of crap. maybe it depends on who wants it bad enough and who gives the most effort.

OR if they need people desperately.

as it turned out, years later, after we have moved on, i find out that three of the elders that appointed my husband ms. were told to step down, why? drinking.

and he said do this until i come, so they shouldnt be doing it right?

i have to share this with you.. after leaving the borg i had to concentrate to solve so many personal problems (financial, child custody, etc.

) that it left me with a poor social life.

i just didn't have the nerve/time to make new friends.
