Jehovah's Witnesses and the Truth About Child Abuse, NGO, and 607

Have you been made to stumble because of the the Watchtower Society's association with the United Nations as a NGO?

Has the pedophile coverup reports caused you to question whether Jehovah's Witnesses are really God's true organization?

Has the claims of clear Biblical and secular evidence that Jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 led you to believe that the WT publications are attempting to hide the truth about their 1914 teaching with 'artfully contrived' stories?

The purpose of this website is mainly for Jehovah's Witnesses and interested ones who may have been discouraged and stumbled by what opposers are saying on these issues. Indeed there are those who have left the faith as a result of these accusations, some who had a record of faithful service for 30 years or even more. Even some of us who participated in the research and writing of the information presented here were either temporarily taken in by the claims made by opposers on some of these issues or we simply did not know for sure if their claims were true or not. That is why we were determined to do an honest and thorough investigation.

The information presented here is the result of that investigation. It is a collaboration of almost 3 years of research and investigation and covers all three issues definitively and in detail. If you have heard or read the accusations made on these three issues you owe it to yourself to examine the facts and read the information presented here before making a judgment based merely on hearsay or the words of others who are only out to discredit Jehovah's Witnesses regardless of what the documentation and facts actually reveal. If you believe that Jehovah's Witnesses make up God's true organization on earth you will be pleasingly surprised and you will find that opposers of Jehovah's Witnesses have no answer to this information other than their usual rhetoric.

newbie to site looking for fellow DF's and DA's (or anyone else who has good conversation to offer)

i am new to the site.

i started perusing it this weekend and wish i had found it 10 years ago when i was on my way out.

anyways, long story short, was df'd for you guessed it...fornication or "loose conduct" even though i had been a pioneer with an elder father, grandfather and uncle and no previous issues.

I've been a member here for 2 months, but had known about it for about 6 months. I like that I can find information here before most others have it...especially since I am df'd also.

THis site has helped, just reading some of the comments, and the SilentLambs site helped me. I thought my kids were the only ones molested by an elder, but because of this site and SilentLambs...I now know that isn't true. Sometimes I feel like I am just hanging on by a thread, but then I read a comment that reminds me that I am not the only one who feels this way, and it helps.

The elder that molested my son and drugged and raped his buddy was removed as an elder. When asked what else happened to the molester, another elder replied, (and I quote) "Isn't that enough?!"

Anyway, it all makes me sick.

It was probably a wig. He is getting old, maybe that's why the songs are losing their punch. I'm glad he can still get up their and play, though...looks like fun.

I doubt if the elders will say anything to him. Now, if I got up there....lol....there would be a JC set up before I got off the stage.

I think most elders enjoy df'ing. So my answer is, yes, one can be df'd for just about anything.

Human kindness

i hold kindness in high regard; it separates us from the drudgery of life and elevates those who practice it as well as those who receive it.

my family has been going through a big crisis for several weeks now and i've noticed a few things.

several of the elders have expressed their concern for us, shared a scripture and then back out to field service or whatever.

I am sorry that your family is going through hard times...I really am so sorry. You know, often we hear '"adversity makes one stronger", or "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I hate those cliches and I hate trouble. I hate for people to have to go through difficulties. We weren't designed to endure tough times. But, we have to...it happens to all of us. Take care of yourself and your family, love each other and know that even adversity doesn't last forever, and things will work out. Accept all the love and concern you are shown, and know that you and yours will be alright.

Consider the "outcome" when elders apply the two-witness "rule"

jehovahs witnesses two-witness rule is applied by elders when a witness member accuses another member of a sin, even if that sin is a criminal act.

if there arent two witnesses to the accusation, it goes nowhere, including not being reported to the authorities.

and in the case of an allegation of child abuse, the accused is free to molest again.. watchtower attorney, jim mccabe, recently stated this about jehovahs witnesses two-witness rule which he described as a bible-based belief :.
