No internet after this weekend

just wanted to let you know after monday, i will not have internet for awhile.

since i lost my short lived job, i just can't afford it.

i can't afford anything right now.

just hang in there.....sometimes the school systems are looking for a quick fix....they just dont have the patients or time anymore for children anymore...Is there a support group in your area? Just a suggestion.I know my close girlfriend goes through the same thing.So that she can keep her job,she has a chain of relitives and friends on a calling list at the school so if she is at work they can be the alternate person to call...There has been many times I have gone to get him from school...he is a handful as well. As far as court goes........good luck.....I think it is a shame that school has let you down in such a manner.You are a wonderful parent in supporting your son.........stay in touch with the board and let us know how you make out at court.

i was reading through the post i tapped out quickly yesterday during my lunchbreak, that long letter from the gb to jwd about why their all-expenses-paid fishing trip was ok, and i started to wonder about something:.

what exactly is the motivation of your average governing body member?.

wow .....what a story........I did not know that there was no more food served at the assembles...........I guess it has been a while since i went? So does everyone bring their own food now? And if there is no more food sevice.....does someone still sit beside the $$$$$$$$ box?

kindom hall "clicks"

when i was a jw a was lucky enough to be in a hall with a "click" you know the type.

they all hung out together.

went to quickbuilds together and ensured that they were the ones with power in the hall.. i remember trying to join the quickbuild team as a 14 year old, only to be asked by the elder in charge of it (and allso in charge of the click), what building qualifications i had!.

oh yes.........i sure the hell did not fit in that click.....i guess i could not bend my elbow hard enough or sleep with everyones husband fast enough..........lol

i took my second microsoft certification exam this afternoon ... and passed !.

phew ... it was tough - i thought i might have revised the wrong book at one point because it didn't seem familiar at all .

Sex,Sex, and more Sex????

now that i have your attention,i would like to know if some of you experienced teenage parents could give me some advice.you see i have a teenage boy.he is going to be 15 real soon.the topic sex has come up many times in the past and i usally just pass it off to his dad.

( i think that that is dads territory..lol)i have to say we have a pretty good open communication when it comes to most things.this weekend though,my husband says he is going to actually buy him some condoms and show him how they work.my problem is this.

(a) my son knows that we really think that sex should be saved for the one you love.

To think that they collect (take) money from people,that in some cases cant even feed

their own family, and have the nerve to want money from Vicki to go on a damn

ok,ok,ok,I get that I titled it wrong....Iam still learning....I do relise that the school does talk to the kids about sex...and they use a plastic model of the males penis........ok...it has been said.........but I also feel that it is much better to talk to your kids yourself rather then some school nurse..

For those of you that are teenage parents,I thank-you for your input....It is much appreciated.....Next time I will be more careful in how I post my question or commet..

Just how we talk to our kids is important to me.....My mom and dad never spoke to me about sex in the "truth" You just never had sex if you were not married....Thats what was suppose to happen anyway........it is a delicate subject,and thats why I held back before I posted it.Your honesty is what I was looking for..........thanks again.....Much appreciated......

My son NOT having a baby,a std or aids is also way more important to me then me dying of embarssement........

I know that things can just happen.It was not to long ago that my husband and I were teenagers.But if we are really saying please dont have it till your ready and were showing him how the condom works,is that not saying have sex but do it carefully? This whole thing is just really putting me over the edge.The second concern I have is...if we dont show him how the condoms work and he ends up with std's,a baby or the worse i imagine, AIDS ,I would be devastated.I just feel, I am damed if I do and damed if I dont.What is the right way to handle this? I would like to think that we raised our boy in the proper way and I have to let him leave the nest some time,but do you think it is to early to be showing him how to use a condom?...The bottem line is,I just feel like we are giving him permission to have sex! .....So how do I go about saying NO SEX,BUT HERE IS A CONDOM JUST IN CASE?

My Best Friends Still Love Me

i had a talk with my best friend (who is still an active jw) the other day, and told her that i wasn't interested in remaining an active witness any more.

i knew she would accept my feelings, because she's a wonderful person and is actually very emotionally healthy, but was afraid because i didn't really know how tight a grip the mind control had on her, and didn't know if she would feel obligated to back off in our friendship any.

i was deeply afraid of that, because we're as close, if not closer than, sisters.. to my pleasant surprise, she not only totally accepted my feelings, but she already knew what i was going to say before i said it.
