  About my ex wife, I am now really confused...

  well i guess this is a though one, but i will as you what do you think i sould do as it has been bugging me for for the past week.. .

  here is, i've been divorced form my ex wife since july and seperated since the new year, i always liked here but could not stand all the bull from being da'd as here friends and mine could not talk and meet anymore because of this.

  now she wants me back (she is still a dub) and would like for me to go back and marry her again, this time at the kingdom hall and simply being incative, doing what i want but being with me, so all could be normal again, i know i would have to fake all again to be re-instated, and bullshit all until i get married, then do nothing just be a dub in title, so that i could be again with the one i love???

  This is a bind...a lot of us who have gone through bust ups on the fringes of the organization can relate.

  How was you marriage before the searation? What was the major reason for the divorce? Has she said why she wants to get back together? Is that the actual reason she wants to get back together?

  After my wife left, I tried everything to get her back and was still open to trying to work it out until the very last moment. I realized she wasn't the one for me. That's a statement you have to find out is true or not.

  what does it take to become a circuit overseer?.

  the watchtower bible track society relies very heavily upon these men to make sure that they have a tight grip on each congregation.. the structure for control that the wt.

  has in place needs it's eyes and ears to find out whether or not a congregation is following all the rules that the wt has laid out for it.

  Show party-line zealotry at a young age. Rat out anyone you think is even off the strictest interpretation of the society's teachings. Encourage the young ones to drop any dreams they had to try to got to Bethel/MTS/Reg Pio/Gilead (looks good for your congregation).

  Try to oust at least one other elder for lack of firmness (or, having a heart, as many of us would call it)

  Suck up to the current CO and offer to be his lieutenant in helping to "clean up the congregation."

  Encouraging weak or depressed ones is for sappy elders who care about the people they live around. CO's just need to lay down the law.

  Once you're there, just repeat these phrases:

  "Your congregation's (studies/attendance/hours) are (X), let's see if we can improve them."

  "(Lastest Childhood craze) is not something that we as Christians should allow our children to take part in." (never mind few of them have kids)

  "The society wants us to pay more attention to (whatever the CO thinks is amiss)."

  Has Anyone been "Spotted" or "Reported" for being here?

  how did you take it, and if you were in good standing at the time, what counsel did you receive?

  What Would A Jehovah's Witness Romance Novel Be Like?

  i was reading in the religion page of the newspaper today that the mormons are enjoying romance novels in which descriptions of the characters' sex lives are limited to little more the first kiss--- that could happen after they are engaged to be married........any ideas of what a jw romance novel might be like?

  my reason for going back is a very simple one.

  recently, after i evicted the book study from my mother's home, some of the jw's came to pick up the chairs.

  first i would like to thank you all for your courage to tell the truth about " the truth" and watchtower, and by helping ones like my family get so much information about witnesses.. just a quick introduction: we came to canada from yugoslavia 12 years ago and two years after we were baptized as a jws.

  because of that , our relatives in canada shunned us for betraying ortodox faith .

  now 10 years later we are shunned by our jw "friends" even thou we are not disfellowshiped nor did we disassociated ourselves.after reading information on this board about un, paedophilia and inhumane treatment of many who just did not agree with some practices, we just couldn`t go to meetings anymore.
