As soon as it ends, it won't be given a second thought.
Iraq. Mideast Peace. Energy sources and prices. This should dominate the news, not a family fight.

I am really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really SICK of this case.
At first, I felt a lot of empathy for the woman and her family. Now, I couldn't care less.
Politicians and the media have exploited this in a disgusting fashion, too, and in their usual lazy way: not reporting, uncovering facts or making honest observations but instead with an eye to repeat their own opinions and get attention.
When news hits, I ask myself if I'll be teaching it as history 10 years later. I doubt that's the case here.
and, while the nation is fixed on the vegetative life or death of a wealthy woman in Florida...

today, a small tornado touched down in south san francisco and people went nutz.
it was very localized and basically blew out a few windows, but looking at the local news you'd think that the sky was falling.
since some of you live in 'tornado alley', can you please enlighten us californians as to what you consider to be a 'real' tornado?
I'm from Oklahoma...of course I have!
I was riding with my dad (while he worked EMS) in Tulsa one night in 1993 when East Tulsa got hit. Cut a 300 yard path for about 4 miles right through Catoosa, including across I-44. We responded right after, and hail was still coming down (Quarter-sized).
On the overpass, a Ford Taurus (I knew this because I saw the name plate) crushed into the size of a large golf cart...the engine was still running. The three passengers weren't.
their was this guy that we saw on the sidewalk yelling things at the witnesses that were walking by.
they called him mr. coffee.
rumor had it that the demons wouldnt leave him alone unless he did this everyday and that his wife was a reg.
When I temped up there, I remember one of his rants about former celeb JWs...

ok, i have not had a lot of experience with death and the one loved one...really loved like a brother ...person that passed in 2002 was my first close, hurt your heart friend to go.
so this last year, maybe year and a half, i have worked with the same 14 to 16 people.
between all of us we have had at least twenty loved ones die, and one of our group that i sat next to for 4 years died.
