  hello ,i am a jw,been in the "truth " for about 6 years.i have to be very careful because i know the witnesses monitors sites and report to the elders ,i know cause that is what my blood sister does,she spends hours trying to find apostates in the closet.i know stuped.. so this is my situation.i have known about jw almost all my life and heard that only them have the truth,lots of my family are in it.i was the one taking too long to baptize ,i knew it was expected from me.and i always had a need to make ppl like me .so i took the dip.i started to notice that there are lots of jws that belong to little groups.i wanted friendship so bad and at the time had a need o tell ppl about my horrible childhood traumas i guess i was not over it yet,and needed some to lisent since i had drove my spouse nuts already .what happend this ppl pretend to want to be close to me so they can know all my business and then tell everyone at the hall.then you realize uhhh,they never confided their personal stuff to me.is like a game " you can tell me your stuff,but do not expect me to keep it to myself and do not think i will tell you my dirty laundry.a lot of mind games.. so i was alone ,invisible ,i still can't believe i put up with so much !

  i can't wright not even half of what i when through.i feel paranoic now.so i came across a youtube video by jwstruggle and blow my mind ,now i can't stop researching,my spouse is not a jw,and is very shock too.so i decided that i want to fade,i guess it won't be so hard since the sis and brothers did not had a close relationship with me.i have kids and i suffer from pts ,anxiety attacks,panick attacks and severe depression.i moved to the next town of my hall,so i have change hall too.i have not been to my new hall,and wanted to know,will the elders in my old hall contact the elders in my new hall just to see if i am attending?..

  my spouse told me " i will tell them i am not letting you go" "and "i found out that your liars!

  You have to ask yourself what would happen if everyone did become aware of your attempted fading, and if so, then how much would it really matter to you anyway?

  I know that the big catch is whatever close family relationships you would like to preserve. However, if you have discovered the real truth about the arrogant and corrupt Watchtower organization (as I and many, many others have, and it looks like you have too) and your personal integrity and independence are more important to you than whatever negative consequences might possibly be with your family relationships, then I would say to just go for it! Yes, in that case I would say to just cut the umbilical cord to that artificial and very much contrived “mother organization” (try finding that word, “organization,” in the Bible!), the ridiculous and oppressive precepts of which have been thrust upon people without question – cut it right off and set yourself free! Remember, you owe it to yourself to be free. And if any so-called “friends” can’t except that, then you know that they were never really “friends” to begin with.

  And when that day comes when you can get completely out of the prison, with it’s spying Watchtowers and its secretive agents and informants, then you can just take a deep breath and finally say, Good riddance!

  Truth is, if you disobey the Governing Body by breaking one of their controlling rules, then bad things will indeed happen to you. But those bad things won’t be caused by Jehovah. No. They will be caused by those who take the Governing Body seriously in trying to make you an emotional wreck by imposing their destructive blackmail by shunning you. They do have the power – for those that let them.

  The antidode for superstitious bondage of any kind is simply to realize that the monster in the closet really doesn’t exist; there’s just nothing there, and there never was. . . . . That’s right! It was all just a stupid fabrication implanted in your head. And you do have the power to simply make it disappear whenever you want. . . . . Poof.

  Special Conmemorative 100th Anniversary Bible to be released next year!

  as many of you know, the watchtower corporation has recently slowed bible production significantly over the past year... i'm sure there are several reasons for this.

  money being the main one.

  but i suspect that they are also anticipating a significant exodus worldwide after the 100th anniversary of jesus' kingdom with "the end" being no where in sight.

  Hey everyone, I have a great idea! All of us should send a copy of that infamous picture on page 29 in the April 15, 2013 study edition of the Watchtower under the heading “THE EARTHLY PART OF JEHOVAH’S ORGANIZATION INCLUDES:” by email and printed copy by mail to as many church and media offices as we can.

  We should include a very simple cover letter saying that we feel compelled to show them something they have a right see – something which is distasteful and offensive to any follower of Jesus Christ and which reveals the arrogant and power-hungry nature of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, who promote great disrespect to our Lord and Savior by attempting to take his rightful place as the Mediator and Messiah of all humanity.

  The recipients of this should include local and national radio, television, and newspaper, as well as some major churches. That ridiculous picture is most appropriate to show to people, as they have a right to be aware of just how condescending the Watchtower is to Jesus.

  It would be great if some churches would provide copies of that picture to their parishioners so they can be forewarned and armed with it, to be prepared ahead of time for the next time Jehovah’s Witnesses call on their doors. Maybe then the householder will have time to think of something to reply to them – and give them a good piece of their mind!

  Imagine if when they call, the householder just pulls out a copy of that picture and holds it right in front of the Witness’ face for a few brief seconds, and then slams the door. Wouldn’t that be sweet!

  to me, the religion is a lot more fanatical than ever before....what do you think?

  is it the same religion even as it was 20 years ago?.

  True. There has always been control, especially since the Rutherford regime era, but I find that the control now is actually much more petty in nature. Examples: dress and grooming, especially beards (how Satanic!); birthdays; clinking glasses; saying “bless you” after a sneeze; entertainment, including music; putting posters or pictures of your favorite music or sports celebrity (“idolizing;” i.e., “idolatry”), extracurricular activities, higher education; chat rooms; phoning/emailing/texting (especially the opposite sex or any “worldlings”), and especially the somewhat new commandments directions regarding district conventions:

  • Thou shalt only book reservations at hotels on the “approved list” of hotels which thou mayest stay at;

  • Thou shalt not leave the convention grounds during the noon lunchtime to pay for food at a restaurant, concession stand, or even a hotdog vendor on the street, and thou shalt not bring any food items bearing their commercial container or wrapping into the camp convention grounds as thou would be disloyal to thy God, Watchtower Jehovah, and lest thou might thereby stumble one of these “little ones” (new recruits victims followers worshippers of Watchtower Jehovah); and

  • Thou must not dress overly casual (i.e., no jeans or T-shirts with “worldy” slogans!) when going to a restaurant for supper after the end of the day’s sessions, and thou must wear thy convention badge to give a good witness to Watchtower Jehovah. (No relaxing too much or “letting your hair down” like the “worldlies.”)

  They’re really big on those directions. They just have to dictate where you can stay, where you can eat, and what you can wear. When you tell people in “the world” about that, they give you a very quizzical look and say, “Really?” Normal people just can’t believe how micromanaging they are about such petty things.

  Only one word comes to my mind: Cult!

  All very interesting – and spot-on! In all the above selected comments – which, as I see it, serve to candidly take the “pulse” of the organization as a whole, from a general perception – there seems to be a common and reoccurring theme so indicative of a cult structure: control, control, and more control. (I.e., control!)

  I just can’t help but bring to my mind the scripture at Revelation 17:6: “And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.” That scripture is referring to the “great harlot” (vs. 1) – and notice that she is drunk with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.

  Surely this describes such false prophets and disingenuous religious outfits we see today – who are really drunk on power (there’s that control thing again). It must be some kind of psychological/sociological drive for some folks to get off on having power and control over others, any which way they can!

  Gerrit Loesch was at our DC today!

  so, unexpectedly, the final talk was announced today and to my surprise and evil glee, they announced gerrit loesch as the speaker!

  first off, at the beginning of his talk, he interrupted himself in the middle of his sentence to scold the microphone brother to lower my mike it's right in my face.. anyway, it was the talk on inspired truth, vs. inspired falsehoods.

  he went through 6 expressions inspired by the demons.

  “Soooo "Apostates" are WORSE then child-abusers since they ARE condemned.”

  Actually, I can see why the GB would have so much fear and hate toward “apostates” – it is because “apostates” have peeked at “the man behind the curtain” and seen that “the emperor has no clothes” – and they are apt to let others know what they have seen.

  As for the child abusers, the WT agents are careful not to make a fuss – after all, truth be told, many of those child abusers turn out to be their cherished elders/overseers. Wouldn’t want to draw any negative attention/publicity back to the WT, now would we? . . . . Hush, now. Nobody must know. . . . . Shhhhhh.

  they live in la-la land, in story land.. it is embarrassing to realize how uneducated and dumb they sound.. they pride themselves in being ignorant while living their life in this "world".. it's too bad so many witnesses drink the koolaid and prefer to stop exercising their brains..
